I just ordered a base model. Porsche upgraded the engine, so the base is better than the older base version. I'm not going to be towing anything, so I didn't see spending an extra 15,000 for a V8 engine. I chose to spend my money on a lot of upgrades. I did upgrade the suspension and picked the 21 inch wheels. I'm excited for it to arrive. Thanks for reviewing the base.

i do agree! my self, getting base and upgrade it is more than enough and dont forget to upgrade to PSE if not yet have.

Good review Karl. But the jacket/microphone scratching sound quality is really easy to fix, I’m sure you could turn the car heater up and take the jacket off?

Yup, I agree with the comment about the issue with sound from your microphone….. great review but that sound is very distracting

Another great video, and totally agree regarding the annoying driving "aids". Always a bonus seeing my village and local roads over your shoulder, but please ditch the nylon jacket as it interferes with the sound throughout.

Glad you liked the review 🙏. In answer to your question, it really depends on you. Yes there have been many mechanical upgrades that if you use the Cayenne to the extreme you will notice, if not, not so much. If you like the latest tech (duel dashboard etc) then you might feel the need to go for the 2024. But the 2023 tech is still quick and better than most rivals. Outside, you would probably have to be a keen Porsche enthusiast to spot the difference. So your call really.

I have a question I bought a 2024 cayenne base model and i hear a slight hissing sound around one second coming from the tire areas and im not breaking. I was told it could be the air suspension kicking in and leveling. What are your thought

Oh man, the review is good but my man, next time you find yourself in a car with air conditioning and heated seats, please, please, remove the fluffy jacket and let the microphone do its thing in peace. It is very irritating and it quite ruins the experience of watching the review.
