If they raise the price of GamePass, they will be entering the same pitfall that Netflix entered where they said that they raised their prices by 40% and lost 20% of their subscribers then it’s a win. It’s that kind of attitude that they are all taking and it will kill the service. In my opinion, raising the price even a couple of dollars was a mistake, and if they raise it more, they will be driving a nail into their coffin. I could be wrong, but we will see.

Netflix lost subscriptions because they raised the price AND their content at that time was really bad, they didnt add any value to their tiers. On the other hand, GP value will be crazy with the addition of ABK games, all previous CODs and the new COD Day one.

Having a physical disc for a game makes no difference. The issue you are illuding to is that Games (physical or not) that rely on online servers to function die when those servers are no longer in service. the industry needs to agree on a way to extend the life of those types of games, either a 3rd party service or allowing gamers to host their own servers. Game Preservation is a big problem right now, and will only get worse.

You know those parents who never let their kids get dirty or even touch stuff that hasn't been disinfected beforehand? Yeah, those kids end up plagued by allergies for years when they become adults cause they never built any resistances. Something that would be easy to do and make a big difference is the issue of people not being able to download Spotify or youtube music or other playlists on xbox and putting Spotify or youtube music in offline mode so as to minimise the effects on online multiplayer games because not all of us have the best WiFi

I hope they keep the game pass ultimate price the same because its already hard enough earning microsoft rewards points to get ultimate each month. The transparency conduct stuff has killed Xbox party chat and Game chat. No one wants to speak to strangers because they are afraid they will get banned. Microsoft has made an agreement with the FTC, that the ABK acquisition would not increase the price of game pass. Secondly, their agreement with Sony allows Sonybthe same privileges as Microsoft in terms of CoD. So if Sony wanted to, they could bring it day one to PS Plus. This is all public record if anyone want to look them up
