Good luck! I hope they work for you. I bought those for my 71 Chevelle. They look great in my car. But……they are junk. I’ve had 3 of those driver seats (Warrantied) and all of them wouldn’t hold me up. I had to do some welding on one of them and that did help but still junk. China Junk! I ended up spending more than I wanted to on a set of original front bucket seats for my car.

Chuck below is correct, the bolts you were showing were to attach the seat to the seat frame. There are no bolts to attach the seat frame to the floor pan, you need to provide those on your own.

I installed them on my 72 chevy Nova and my head hits the roof there way to high now I’m trying to figure a way to lower them by trimming seat foam down

No don't do that. You want that much cushion. Cut down the seat brackets.

I'm wondering if these type of seats will boat right up to a 79 Impala want to take out my bench seat for bucket seats I'm new to installing seats wondering if I need to do anything or is this just straight out of the box with everything I need to or do I need to change anything

bolts with thick washers are for adjuster rails to bracket not bracket to floor pan, use factory bolts for that

There are no factory bolts. Remember this is going from a bench seat to bucket seats so these are new drill holes, bolts and washers.

Yep, here is what you need. Both the seats and mounting brackets come from classicindustries.com. Both say they are "Arriving Soon", however. But it's where I bought mine from. To tell you the truth, you could make your own if you know how to weld or know someone that does. They are very simple, and I had to cut and modify mine to lower them another inch so I had more head room as those seats were sort of tall sitting for my Nova. Did you have issues with your seat height after you completed the installation?

Yes. The standard height for the seat brackets is too high. I cut them down by 3/4 of an inch and that was enough to stop banging my head on the door jamb.

The bolts without nuts are to bolt seat to frame

I'm currently trying to figure out how to install those brackets. Hopefully going to get it this weekend. I picked up some huge washers from Lowe's. They are like 2". Hopefully those are good enough

converting my 72 from bench to bucket. same seats and brackets as yours. was wondering how you installed them without the holes on right side of car on driver side and left side of car on passenger?

I just drilled the holes for them. Use large flat washers underneath for support.

Pro car sells the rear seat covers. Not sure if you have a seat frame that can be recovered

How far forward do they fold? Are you able to get to back seats easily?
