I have wanted to 2dr conversion one of those gm cars , Chevy , Buick , Oldsmobile or Caddy for years .the side view would be insane with the window frames painted black and windows tinted in limo , it would give the illusion that the top was floating from a distance

A 6.0-4l60e would make that Yacht a nice freeway cruiser but the nail head is a cool looking engine.

I've always been told they're called "nail heads" b/c the actual valves are 90º upright like nail heads.(Well, the retainers ON the valves look like nail heads.)

the Dyna Flow transmission, or whatever marketing name Buick used in '60, was a good transmission. It's not real economical but it has the talking point of being a shiftless transmission when left in Drive. I had a '63 with one, I think 60 was similar. To take off fast, put in Low, burn rubber, then shift to Drive manually, or leave in Drive and take off fairly leisurely.

We had a 59 4drhdtp baby blue. When we got it noone had ever sat in the back seat. It had fingerhuy clear seat covers with little gold stars. There was an alarm on the speedo. One time when my dad was going to a football game in Healdsburg he had the alarm blowing all the way up the 10I. I was in the band , so I was on the bus. A freind and his family were with him, so I got to hear about it. Evidently it would go faster than the highest setting on the alarm. That was 110mph.
