New Properties in Nauvoo: A Walking Tour of the Joseph Smith Properties

Whilst I wept with joy when I heard initially of the purchase of the Nauvoo Temple, houses, land and accompanying artifacts, my heart goes out to how the Members of the Church of Christ must have felt when they heard the news. It would have been akin to us selling the Salt Lake Temple. God bless them for their faith and care in looking after Nauvoo until it 'came home'.

Wow, the power of this sacred place. What has occurred on this land we can only imagine. The ages of men who have wandered this vast sacred country that has been cleanced in blood and blessed by the Devine and will yet hold the presents of that most wonderfulman of power.
