To be clear, I’m quite aware that you can build a better PC than the one in this video for that price, this video is meant to compare a prebuilt pc that you can buy at a retail store like Walmart or Bestbuy. If you build it yourself I left the pc build I recommend at this price point in the description.

Ive been putting off pc gaming for over a decade but as my ps5 and xbox series x sit and collect dust im seriously thinking about selling them and putting that money plus about $500 more towards building a gaming pc. My PC build budget would be around $1300, i think i can build a hell of a machine for that price.

Justifying Playstation over PC when objectively speaking, this PC is one of the worst $800 PC builds you can get is actually insane. Not so much from you making the video, but from those in the comments. Imagine building a quality PC for $800 then comparing. Easily get 240 fps on fortnite and 200 fps on COD. Also, one of the biggest factors not mentioned here is INPUT DELAY. Consoles have an INSANE amount of input delay that can clearly make it harder to compete in any game that is played online. If you only want to play single player games and continuously waste money buying a new console every 4 years, so be it. PCs are upgradable at very little to no cost.

Appreciate that you tried to compare what seems like a brand new pc vs ps5 pro.. and i think 7600 wasnt bad until 4k.. ps5 was superior on 4k vs that pc. Good job on this... but if we consider adding the disk drive, stand and sub for at least 1 yr cos likely ps5 pro will be getting that, u can slap that pc with a 7700xt, 7800xt, 7900gre or 4070s, then it would be a different story alrdy..

I paid $761.24. I didn't want/need a stand or disk drive. Very happy with my purchase. Dragons Dogma 2 ($40 on sale) on my 77 inch Samsung S90D looks beautiful. Loving it! Enjoy your PC.

Good comparison but a few points. The PC was $100 more expensive, newer games can be cheaper than PC since it still has physical games you can sell, games for the PS5 will be more optimized and have fewer problems overall than PC, and you miss out on day one exclusives from PS on PC. That being said the PRO should have been $100 cheaper imo.

If your tryna game on a low budget tho not ps5 consoles are usually better becuase sense the ps5 is like 450$ you can't really get something as good unless you get used parts but a used ps5 is only like 300$ so if youre just gaming and you don't have money console actually is better

You don’t need to even go to a 4070 level as it’s much more powerful than a pro at +33% performance gains with much better cpu, however being realistic a 4070 super has higher gains with circa +60% compared to a 6800 which is roughly where the pro specs sit. In uk £1100-1200 for a prebuilt. And albeit additional spend you can do so much more than game. If it’s just for games and ease of use just buy a console.

A pc the same price in reality won’t compete with all game types but it’s close. Build or buy a £1000-1200 pc with a much better cpu, a 4070 super and your +60% performance gains and it’s on a completely different level or even a cheaper 4070 which still has +33% over the pro being equivalent to an overclocked 6800.

Because PC has a way better value, has a larger library of games, performance is better, it is cheaper in the long run and you can do more stuff then only playing games with it. Its thats why PC it is overrated ? :D
