@@Markymark1408 Well note quite, there must be a kernel exploit changed with this webkit then people need to make fake package game files that are backported far back enough for systems to run - but this is a great step in the right direction. I think there we will be major developments from now until the end of this year.

​@@Markymark1408Yeah but this isn't gonna happen yet, because the PS5 security architecture hands all PKG/EBOOT to a different VM on the hypervisor for verification, which isn't compromised yet. I don't think we'll be able to load custom PKG until the hypervisor mode exploit is out, and we can patch the signature checks in SecurityOS.

"This firmware (2.70) is not currently supported" pops up if you try it on that firmware. Just in case those few people like me on 2.7 were wondering if it works on that. So close! I know it's specifically not mentioned in the list of supported FW, hopefully the required offsets are found and added to this implementation to support 2.7 in the future. :)

Thanks for the update, it seems 2.70 FW is the forgotten FW, I also have it but I can barely find any info about it on the internet. I had a feeling it was left out when it wasn't on the list but I had some hope since it was also noted it'd work on FWs below 3.xx. Oh well, just a little more waiting

More games can be dumped. On PS4, some people have a secret method to dump games from newer firmwares but judging by the lack of dumps on PS5, it's safe to assume that method doesn't work. Less than 100 games have been dumped on PS5.

Because 2.xx has a vulnerability on the hypervisor. This is the last step until we get a full jailbreak. Newer versions are pretty much unlikely to get any full jailbreak anytime soon, if ever
