I use a tkl keyboard at work and do a lot of Excel work. A year or two ago I tried a num pad on my left hand and I was hooked. Allowing me to keep my right hand on the mouse and enter numbers with my left in a comfortable position is awesome. Give it a go sometime.

Yeah, it's kinda dumb that they name it Blackwidow Lite. They should have named it Blackwidow TKL. I really do not care about price at all and this one is still a favorite of mine.

I don't think the features on this board warrant an 80 dollar price tag. That's going against some pretty heavy hitters like the MasterKeys Pro line, which have RGB. A product with lite in the name should be lite on the wallet, but this is Razer we're talking about.

Mr PoTaTo I recommend the techware phantom TKL instead, its a lot better than the drevo, as i have used both (and cheaper). I have owned it in outemu browns before and thought it was pretty great, and im going to try the blues on it soon.

i loved it, it didn't have LED colors. I like my current ornatas. Ornatas are the perfect keyboard for me so far. No other brand has such as nice spacebar except gamdias.

No review mentions the height of this keyboard. My BlackWidow Chroma is way lower and it feels impossible to get into a natural wrist position with the Lite.

I just picked one of these up based on all of the reviews that I have watched and it has an extremely loud metal ting on every key stroke.. I have never heard it in any of the reviews and never really seen it mentioned. Everyone raved about how quiet it was, but I think that this might be the loudest keyboard that I have ever used.

recently got the razer ornata chroma which claims its mecha-membrane keys that doesn't specify which color switches it has or maybe its newer. first razer gaming keyboard btw but been watching reviews on models such as huntsman, ornata chroma, black widow models and hearing each color switch and differences. in person only tried blue and now this mecha-membrane switches and blue is of course the loudest and most click but this mecha-membrane is magical in its quietness even with a slight click to it. Now wouldn't say its the most quiet as I still don't know what exact switches it uses as from what I learned the cherry mx reds still are the most quiet. The ornata chroma is a full size keyboard so only if they made a mini or lite version like a 60% keyboard then it'll be perfect.

If you like this mature sound (comparing to the other keyboards of this price range), try to find a star wars edition (with a white aluminum plate on top). It looks awesome. I'm very satisfied typing 10 hours per day. PS Yellow rings do not help. The sound test was not accurate enough.

Orange switches are my favorite that I have tested and I like the shorter keycaps. Being TKL is a drawback and I'm not a fan of the floating keys, though it makes maintenance easier. Once this inevitably goes on sale its not a bad deal. The lack of RGB is disappointing because some customization would be nice, at least a few different options like red for working at night (no need for all the chroma effects). All in all, a solid option for one of the best switches so I'd enjoy using one should I win but a few revisions away from the next great keyboard. Keep up the good work.

Don‘t know if you still need to know this, but you can change the brightness of the backlight by pressing Fn + F11 or F12 and the function keys also work as volume adjusters.
