That dial color is really nice. I'm not a big fan of the "pin and collar" bracelet adjustment. With my LE Samurai I purchased a bracelet from a company called strapcode which has screws and is a bit beefier. Great review!

No,doubting seiko make the best dials and case shapes going around. They really need to up their movement performance. Some run strong and highly accurate, others are all over the shop, especially their amplitudes.

Nice looking watch. Dial is reminiscent of the Omega Seamaster anniversary colours. I'n not and never have been keen on white straps, although I know you love them. The strap would deffo fit any passing Ogre.

Hi Barry, the dial reminds me of the recently introduced Oris diver which you reviewed. This Seiko looks spectacular: you know how I feel about the movements, but it will be ISO 6425 compliant, making it an extremely versatile piece. I'll see if my local Seiko AD is likely to stock it, then perhaps I will be able to check it out. Keep them coming Barry, LG Bob 🍻 🍻🍻

Was in Italy last week and was tempted to ask for a look as the watch shop carried it but not on display; that said I don't care for the 6R35 movement. I like the newer updated models and hope the 6R55 movements are better. Time will tell (pun intended). Also the date window should be framed IMHO. That said, a new MM300 was just released with the excellent 8L movement-I will be looking at those.
@ClickSpringReview4 ай бұрын
Honestly there isn't any difference between the 35/55 . The new MM300 looks good but the 8L momement really needs an update how many movements do you know which stall take an hour to change the date . Seiko really needs to up there game

Whilst your saving up for that luxury piece you always wanted (Damasko in my case-or Sinn, not decided) Seiko release something that’s very cool and you think “ oooooh……ok - I’ll buy this as I have the money and it won’t make THAT big of a dent in my savings, I’ll just start again…..” it’s why I own 3k worth of Seikos and not a Sinn.

Aside from the dial, everything else is the same as the SPB143?

Yep but look how the dial transforms it this, thats the hole point of a LE model. They normally do something like this to shift the last out of watches, swap the dial with something cool and add a silicone strap and you have a LE
