I'm thankful to hear at least one RV KZbin Channel telling the truth about lack of availability at campsites. It's been a real challenge for me to watch certain Channels continually encouraging people to FT RV all the while laughing off concerns of overcrowding. Now, those same folks are all set up to boondock and are complaining when others camp too close. So, whether they admit it or not overcrowding is a real concern and it does affect spontenaity. I agree that this situation is just one more reason your decision to manage a campground is a good one. We really enjoy watching your Channel. Thank you!

Y’all are just so funny I think we are all a little fluffy after the Covid year we have had. I am getting a little worried about what it’ll be like on the road this fall as I am camp hosting for the summer and staying put in one spot. ~2:07 and following............ I believe, from the look, the lack of undergrowth, and the missing lower branches that a forest fire ran through this area in recent years. That would explain the "eeriness". This is not what most Appalachian forests look like in early spring. (Disclaimer - I am much less familiar with conifer forests, which this appears to be, and not at all with this area..........)
@tomt95433 жыл бұрын
That’s the way this type of pine grows. N.C. Is full of forests like this! Fires are very beneficial to the health of these trees, intentional burns are done every few years in managed forests, but the dead lower limbs happen regardless of the presence fire. Forest fires actually cause the pine cones on the ground to pop and distribute their seeds, while killing off competing species.
