This video just goes to prove that although this video is 7 yrs old, the information then is just as good now and it gives me confidence that I can change the springs on my 357. Thank you!

Nice videos!! New guns are B#$%. I learned a lot from watching you> My gun is super smooth now and easy to take apart and assemble> I made trigger shim that is 22 thousandths think and it made a big difference in trigger pull. I used copper and drilled a whole so it is fastened with the spring screw.

+John Pinckard Hi john,glad the vids helped,shimming the trigger is a good way to go,did it make a big difference using a 22 thou shim ?You can also just bend it a bit but shimming is by far the best option as you can control the amount better and of course return the trigger to factory if needed by simply removing the shim,nice one, cheers John

i'm a newbie to all this, but having a lighter ejector spring does not sound like a good thing. Why is this desired?
@myrossirifle4 жыл бұрын
Hi, if you buy a new rifle or an original untouched second hand one then you will find that the action ie when you cycle the lever to load/unload it will be very tight and the ejected round will land approx 3 meters away, this means that the ejector spring is over powered for the job it needs to do. Now, if you put a lighter after market ejector spring in, the rifle will still be safe to use but it will be transformed into a much nicer /easier rifle to shoot. If you only do one thing to your rifle, change out the ejector spring, it will also make taking it apart and reassembling much easier, cheers.

/changed out mine with the same kit, my lever has a little slop in the closed position. because of the ejector spring?
@myrossirifle4 жыл бұрын
Yes it could be, I went 1 up from lightest as I was getting light strikes to the primer, if you are on the lightest combination try coming up to the second lightest.

+My Rossi Rifle Great video. I'm really interested in purchasing a model 92 soon. However, you refer to this one as a Model 67. I'm not familiar with that.

Hi,its just referring to the stainless 20 inch octagonal model,there are lots of different models but they are all basically the same action,if you do get one make sure you change the springs,cheers.
