Chaos Zero Nightmare is a cosmic loop RPG. The teaser reveals a post-apocalyptic setting where survivors flee Earth due to the Chaos Zero Project. Despite 15 failed rescue missions causing extreme mental distress, a 16th mission begins as the likely game start. Character animations hint at a 2D style similar to Epic Seven. The game is set for a 2024 release, with its platform yet to be announced.

thanks for recommending this game Chaotik! also for correction Outerplane is made by a different devs called VAGAMES while E7 and this one CZN is made by Super Creative as seen on the trailer this is their 2nd game from the devs but still Smilegate is gonna publish the game.

Just a small correction, the devs are the same as e7(supercreative) but not outerplane(forgot the name but the lead dev worked on closers online prior). That aside I'm looking forward to the potential of this game, especially if they implement the characters going crazy as some kinda gameplay mechanic.

Not even the characters, even the symbols for their factions are so cool. I would love something like Epic Seven, but less PVP competitive, and so more of alot of PVE mode. Star Rail have proved it, you don't need competitive PVP to be successful.

Maybe it's just me but like I feel like I can't even get in to gachas anymore that are basically just menu simulators. I feel spoiled by games like HSR, Genshin and Wuthering Waves and their explorable worlds that it's hard to be excited by what will almost certainly be click mode>click level>auto play>repeat.

Is it going to be exclusively waifu collection game or are there going to be male characters, too? Just want to start before hand because of the Outerplane game that they had. It'll be okay if the game is going to say that it is a waifu collection game at the start. That way I can pace myself. Also, this way, I wouldn't be expecting too much for the design (again, Outerplane - who's characters design is only good for the early months then it became repetitive and boring and designs that aren't well thought of)

Ohhhhh yeah, more Gacha’s. Always excited for something new. Okay, so. I like the acronym LMAO. The characters look nice, especially the ones with the long horns, pretty… However, if it’s gonna be your typical 2D turn based, then I prob won’t play. Hope they have interesting mechanics somehow to make it unique. The art style is pretty basic af, so there’s gotta be something else. And to clarify, just because it’s basic doesn’t mean characters can’t look good, it’s just really basic and nothing unique in terms of the stylistic choice. Story is also basic, and this trailer didn’t really hit because the music and narrator were everywhere and so were the cutscenes, it didn’t exactly flow nicely. The art later on was a little weird and diff from the earlier 2D art. Don’t know about that, found it odd. Hope to see more out of this game, it doesn’t look bad, but I don’t think it will shine either. Agreed, I’ll be cautious with this one as well.

@@NoumLyye yeah, this is just first impressions and it can always turn out to be something diff. And yeah, I wonder if the later art is supposed to be in the actual story, since this is prob going to be visual novel storytelling. It looks like something you’d see when playing the game.

well, you're wrong and so was I... Its actually a Roguelike Turn based RPG with 2D characters. Also there's no telling if the story is basic, we don't know pretty much anything. You could say it looks basic but it could turn to something a lot more in-depth then you may have thought. Although I'm still holding out on the Semi Open-world but that's my lack of thought showing

@@kingwolford515 ohhhh, it’s Rogue-like? Interesting, I wonder how it is with these 2D battle mechanics. Oh, sorry, by basic I mean it has the very common initial apocalyptic story telling method. “The Earth went to crap because of chaos, the cataclysm, the destruction, the annihilation, the all ending, the abyss, etc etc.” I’ve seen interesting apocalyptic scenarios, but this seems like the usual dark forces took over Earth to better their race or some other dark reason like revenge, civilization, growth, survival of the fittest, blah blah or whatever, lol. You’re right, it could be in depth, but im more inclined to believe it’s something I’ve seen already with maybe a diff twist or two, which isn’t very interesting if it’s rooted in similar beginnings, because then it’s just a small derivative. I haven’t seen many new stories with interesting beginnings that make the apocalyptic situations occur, it’s usually the old ones that are popular, and popular for that reason among other things. But I guess time will tell for this one.
