The rxm seems nice, I picked mine up last night. I shot about 5 mags through it and it is better than the glock 19 I own. It has a sig like feel when you shoot it. The pistol shoots flatter than the 19 or dagger. The dagger shoots flatter than the g19. Add in the multi mount for dots and the chassis that you know ruger will maximize. You just know they will do a pcc with it.

And I still don't understand why the ORIGINAL Austrian creator of the platform didn't do the "FCI" modularity before this collaboration. I mean... a company who can't sell much of its own 9mm firearms and a firearms accessory company "out-engineered" the multi-billion dollar conglomerate...with their own 3rd gen (10+ yr old) specs?

Glock is very resistant to making changes, i think partially because the design has been so reliable... still a great choice even by comparison to more modern designs, that being said this being a product improved version at 2/3 the price is a great deal if it proves to be reliable (I picked one up yesterday for $400)

They could change the frame to have some actual thought about being ergonomic and natural pointing without affecting reliability or simplicity in any way. They just refuse to do anything. If Glock made the Gen 6 with a chassis or just improved the frame to get rid of the hump, make it point like a 1911, improved optics mounting system that doesn’t require plates and have a more comfortable undercut that doesn’t cause Glock knuckle Glock would be my go to. As of now it’s a beater gun I keep in my car and forget about.

Roger claims this is RMSc, RMR and Deltapoint compatible. It has multiple screw holes and pins much like the Springfield Echelon.

The hellcat is thinner and same capacity . If money doesn’t matter and mostly for edc I would go hellcat .

I own both a Glock 19 and Ruger, and the Glock is winning. Heavier trigger but less creep and crisper. Not impressed with the Magpul grip frame - seems too soft - my light left indentations on the rail, but not on my Glock. Hands down, Glock mags are better. Which do I choose? Smith and Wesson M&P - the metal series is amazing.

I have both and the glock is still a higher quality pistol with a marginally heavier but less take up and crisper trigger. Not impressed with the magpul grip frame - seems too soft - my light left indentations on the rail.

I like how if the grip gets damaged, or modified by a previous owner, you can just get a new one. That's really cool. Also the fact it isn't self-firing, like some other "fire-control insert" pistols, is a bonus!

I hv shot several Glocks through out the years. Blocks. So what if they started an innovative striker fire pistol. So what if Mags are compatible. No new innovation. Same Block. Nothing great. Much better. Bought RXM two days ago. 300 + rounds. Much better in EVERY way. Ruger now has beat Blocks hands down. Ruger has great customer service and the independent chassis system (fire control unit) like Sig is something exceptional that Block never did. It’s not a Glock clone. Many of those. This Ruger is unique.

I carry a Gen3 19 with just irons, but I see the RXM as a good training gun that I can mount a dot on. But if it proves just as reliable as my 19 (a proper reliability test for me is around 2500 rounds with a mixture of ammo that includes my defensive ammo of choice), I may carry it as well, especially since you can run Glock mags in it and install Gen3 parts.

No.Just a better product than Glock.Ruger and Magpul are name brand, Not discount. You need to get out more often. Ruger and Magpul just fixed the Glock shortcomings like iron sights, optics cut. Better grip angle and texturing. Automatic aftermarket in place and a far better trigger and Ruger's great customer service.
