Nice they're expanding the USB stuff. This in particular is good to see, as it's no-compromise power. You can hotswap batteries, or leave it plugged in & continously powered when set stationary. Honestly with the amount of glued down lithium batteries in gadgets this is awesome Hope they make more like this in the future

It’s cool, but let’s not beat around the bush, this is so they can make more money. The USB lithium battery is just an 18650 battery with a usb port to charge. That battery cell is readily available for $4-5, and Ryobi charges at minimum $15 for it. Plus the battery cell is practically impossible to replace without destroying the casing around it. An 18650 slot would be best, but this is still pretty good.

My brother has 1 of these and it outperforms my 2 Oontz Angle 3 Ultra even when dual-paired. It is so loud but oh so clear and punchy. Seems they're not forthcoming with the speaker wattages though. I'm impressed regardless 😮

Nice…giving your big brother Milwaukee a run now versus their new M12 speaker!

This is actually pretty awesome. I haven’t gotten into the USB lineup but I will be soon and this is definitely something I’m going to purchase.

I got into it because of the package opener thingy, I love that thing…lol! There are a couple of cool things on that platform and this one look pretty cool too!

@@txvet7738 yeah my wife wants the package opener, especially for gift wrapping lol. I’ll take a lot of the other things they have on this platform.

I bought the usb fan, great little fan but limited runtime with a 2ah battery, i'll have to grab some 3ah soon. The line up in promising for sure.

If you're looking for reliable tools, I highly recommend checking out more of Ryobi's lithium-powered options. I've been using their screwdriver set, and it’s been fantastic. The battery life is great 🔋, and it has plenty of power for most tasks 💪. Expanding your collection with their other tools would be a solid investment 🛠️!

How much? And when will it be available? I don't see it on HDs site yet
@dondiego1243 ай бұрын
If you really want it you'll have to look for it daily, once it's up they might release a handful at a time, once it's on the HD website it'll probably sell out quick whoever get them first please test it and leave a quality review.

Slowing moving to all Ryobi Cordless stuff. Have a bunch of power tools as well as their riding lawn mower (wish it was lithium but found a KZbin channel that goes over converting it when the batteries won’t hold a decent charge).

Huge miss not giving it a link rail. Just the ability for it to slot onto a wall or to the speed bench would of made it all the better
@omarjimenez88953 ай бұрын
Definitely would've been cooler if they could but would it be too much on such a tiny speaker? I feel the link slot would take up the entire back side of the speaker. But I do agree that they should've done at least something. Link compatibility, a recessed handle, built it hook, hook handle, a rail for mounting on a shelf, something would've been nice
