$549 (Lowes) for the non-self propelled is not to bad. In high or wet grass is the real test so the day after rain is not always easy on my mower but that is a true test. I like that the self propelled feature was not used because I think I could my front and back on one charge. Otherwise I'd need 2 batteries or 2 days to cut. Staying with my Craftsman till it breaks & not worth working on.

12ah is a huge battery. I bet that battery alone cost around $800.

Hi Michael. Thanks for your videos. They're super helpful. You mentioned in your IG video that you typically hold off on fertilizing if there is a lot of rain coming. I live in Atlanta also, and have a lot of rain coming in my 10 day forecast. I was planning to put down some fertilizer tomorrow (Mother's Day), but should I wait until after all this rain passes?

I’d apply it. As long it’s not gonna rain two three days straight you are good, on and off rain 🌧️ will only help. Now if they are say flood type rains I’d hold off.

Hello Sir, awesome video like always. I was looking at one of your older videos about Iron. Is there a different between chelated iron and water soluble iron? Those two irons are in the triple green fertilizer
@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral6 ай бұрын
Chelated absorbs and bonds to the leave or uptakes faster. Greens quicker.

Assisted self propelled mode used or all leg power from the young buck? We got self-propelled 40v and 80v mowers here (plus zero turn) for our 3 acres I rarely use self propelled s so that I get more run time with the batteries. Prob gives me 25% more run time vs using assisted mode.

Which brand mower for the 40v & 80v and do they require going over twice with high grass or after raining the day before ?
@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral3 ай бұрын
@juggernautz Kobalt and Greenworks 80 volts are a beast.
@jesusjones30143 ай бұрын
@@juggernautz sorry for late reply only seeing this now. kobalt 20" 40v & 80v 21". Kobalt is made by greenworks. Have to buy greenworks blades bc can't find the kobalt blades anymore. The 80v is on par with gas. 40v is good but bogs down in super thick grass, but for regular house it's fine. Got 3 acres here so sometimes grass gets thick and tall in some places. I'd go with the 80v if I have to buy another. I bag mow with both so I'm sure that helps it cut easier. Don't have to go over twice ever, but I sharpen my blades a few times a year so that helps.

2:19 it looks like theres alot of dibree on the deck around the battery door. Thats too close. Id be worried debree could fall into the battery compartment when you swap it and cause jams and obstructions.

Two things, I said in that point in the video the lawn was core aerated that why there’s a lot of dirt debris there ( happens of regardless of what small mower I use ) 2nd I’d simply blow it off first before I open the the door. This doesn’t happen when just mowing a normal lawn.

No dual blades, top cut quality, mulches great.

Is it common to cut Bermuda at 1.5 inches?
@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral6 ай бұрын
2 inches especially if you have a bumpy lawn. If leveled try 1 inch
