I needed to find these saving games again, my autism needs assistance with budgeting. I had a nest egg set aside for the family and an issue arose and wiped it out. I have to start all over again and I lost motivation, now I have it again and let the games begin. 💪🏼

So I have been avoiding your videos- or ANY videos relating to budgeting for MONTHS!! A lot has been going on and I just didn't want to think about it. Decided to get my head right the last 6 weeks, and this is the next step for me again. So as I sit recovering from illness, and crocheting a Christmas gift, I put tons of your videos on a play list for ME. I have some peppermint tea, a notebook and my yarn basket next to me as I sit in front of the fireplace, lol. Thanks for making such great helpful videos that help me catch right back up and motivate me back to the right path!

I don’t know how to word this question but how do you take out all the cash but still have money in your checking account? Do you have like a cushion then replenish when you spend? So you kind of have to be a month awake to make it all work?
@2SisterBeesАй бұрын
Hi!! 👋 I do that, yes. I use my debit card to pay for things sometimes and then I will take the cash out of the envelope to replenish my checking account. I did not start out that way, though. I built up to that. So - you can start and not be a month ahead on your bills. Hi Jenn. Why do you think about a reverse mortgage?
@brendawilliams19757 ай бұрын
That’s what do you think
@2SisterBees7 ай бұрын
This is a good question and I actually have no experience with a reverse mortgage. I actually looked just now to see what Dave Ramsey says about them and he does not recommend however - I also see a lot of critics saying they don’t agree with his reasons. Reverse mortgages are a HUGE decision and if I was thinking of getting one - I would do so much research and get every angle on them that I could before pulling the trigger. You can never have too much info !

No wishing - you have to believe it. Say, “I will have more money to save.” “ I am going to save $___ this week.” Believe it, say it and do it. I watched an interview with Whoopi Goldberg this morning and she said that when she was 6, she would practice her speech for winning an Oscar! She believed it and it happened! 🙌

I’m a little bit confused about the high yield account and my regular savings account
@2SisterBees7 ай бұрын
High yield savings has a savings rate that is MUCH higher than a regular savings rate. My Wells Fargo is .01% which is ridiculous, actually and my high yield savings is 4.89% It is a huge difference! If you can let $ sit for a longer period of time ( more than 1 year, ideally) the HYS is the way to go. Why do you have five cash binders? That makes this all seem so much more elaborate and difficult. Trying to understand your system.
@livinglifewithmama82927 ай бұрын
Why are you wasting all of that space on the paper? Why are you using each section for one thing? Why not use each section for each savings account, Like one section for your regular account and one section for your HYS account. Then on each line make a note of which envelope it comes from, that way you're not wasting any space.
@2SisterBees7 ай бұрын
Because I will continue to add to each category. The space that is for “Car Maintenance” - each time I add to the HYS for that category, I will just write amount and new total under the line you saw me write in today’s video. It’s the same concept as a ledger. I hope that answers your question. 🐝
