Great instructor. Good pace that allows the new shooter to comprehend information and put it in practice immediately creating muscle memory bond. I do have one question or criticism depending on the rules in your country. In NZ were I shoot and many other countries that I know we are not allowed to holster a weapon with a round in the chamber. Maximum, gun loaded, not cocked. Even if this is allowed in your country for the new shooter retrieving her gun while its loaded so soon in her holster training can be quite dangerous. Instructor doesnt see what is happening on the holster side of the shooter therefore she cant address any possible issues. This is how "shooting herself in the foot" accidents happen. Everything else is a pleasure to watch.

Good training...though I would add "survey" before re-holstering. Scan the area for other threats visually. If we condition ourselves to reholster after firing...we may do that in combat without thinking. Muscle memory. Only holster when there are no longer any threats

She’s a very good range master however, as a former Leo this was called point and shoot years ago. It was very effective for me because, as you practice more and more you tend to do this naturally with a round right where you want it and you are getting the shot off very rapidly.

Also for new shooters Treat every single weapon as if they are always loaded with live rounds. Never ever point the weapon at yourself, even if you know the weapon is clear. Never ever do that. Never point a weapon at someone else, unless you plan on shooting them. Never muzzle sweep someone for any reason. Never have your finger on the trigger, unless you are actually going to fire the weapon. Keep your trigger finger off the trigger at all times. Never ever shoot your weapon in the air, because what goes up must come back down. It can hit an innocent person, and you will be liable for it. Never unholster your weapon, unless there is first clear proof, that a life is in imminent danger. Never treat your weapon as a threat towards other people, even in an argument or to win a disagreement, your weapon is for protection and not there to terrorize people. Never fire your weapon in a crowded location or where the background may have innocent people. If you can, make sure there is a hard object behind the person thats being shot at, like a brick wall or hard metal surface or object because bullets continue to travel even when hitting a person. Remember, you are always responsible for your actions every time you handle or discharge your weapon, and actions have consequences, so be aware of that. Lastly, just because you have a weapon does not make you god or better than anyone else. Actions have consequences, and even more so for a person carrying a weapon.

@@LIL-MAN_theOGactually this is helpful even for someone who got professional training for concealed carry 25 years ago. It’s never a bad thing to return to the basics and go site-by-step through what you “know” how to do. Bad habits can creep in over time - like not making sure your left hand is nowhere in the path of the muzzle. Verifying that the holster is clear is something I need to work on. I need to figure out how to do that with an IWB holster at 4:00 and a shirt/jacket cover garment. Re-holstering is one reason I like thumb safeties. Because Glock-leg is not good.
