I think this comment misses the point. This isn't about a new version you can buy - if you listen to the video I'm not even sure that it's going to be for sale - the import is rather that the military is requesting what are typically identified as high-end civilian or smaller unit upgrades on a standard issue pistol.

Yup. After I realized the difference in my X-Carry and the rest of my P320’s I got X grip modules and X triggers for all of them as soon as they became available. The Sub-Compact became an X-Compact, the Compact became another X-Carry, and the Full Size became, basically, this model. And, wow, does it shoot nicely! A whole different gun. Something in the grip geometry helps a bunch with that rocking recoil motion. My real favorite is the X-Compact. It’s a mystery to me why I don’t see more videos on those. But, dammit, no optic cuts on anything but the X-Carry. And that one, with a Vortex Viper, showed me why I couldn’t ignore MRDS’s anymore. Love them!

I have a M18, the manual safety is the reason I purchased it.. I wouldn't trust it with the delete kit. But for me it's natural to sweep it, I do it on everything even my Glocks lol, it's a habit..

I've been running a Xcarry with Sig extended Magwell and Grayguns flat adjustable trigger for over a year. Basically this same gun minus the adjustable rear sight. I love the idea of the adjustable sight. Throw some tungsten weights in that grip module and its a mini X5. 😁😎🇺🇸💪

The Sig P320 is the only firearm in my life that I regret buying. The trigger is a major design flaw, this pistol will go off on it's own. It is unsafe, which makes it useless for CCW because im not going to let myself be shot by a unsafe CCW and im not going to carry a unloaded CCW

During war, your rifle is your primary weapon. The pistol is almost a last ditch effort in combat. CQB applications I could see where a pistol will come in handy. Otherwise, why did the military put in so much effort to replace the M9? The M1911 was the best sidearm they could ask for and they dumped it. What if the military never replaced the M1911 A1 and chose to upgrade it instead. It's too bad they abandoned it. On the other hand, I do love this Sig. Amazing weapon.
