A neat thing about aspects is that they can potentially use them to keep gods viable in metas that would traditionally push them out. I think Anhur's a good example of this; he would normally struggle in metas that favour AS steroid hunters but would keep up much better with this aspect. If we get more like that we'll hopefully see a much bigger god pool from meta to meta which would have interesting implications for picks and bans etc. Overall loving how much this opens up the game!

Athena ult should give her a shield based on the max health of the target or something crazy. Maybe the shield explodes when it's destroyed or runs out of time.

Maybe something they could add to bellona's aspect would be when she ults, instead of the flag being stationary, have it attach to herself so she can move it around, maybe give it some healing and remove the stun? Removing the stun being the trade off of having a mobile bellona ult. Unless her ult already moves with her. I haven't played her yet in smite 2 so I dont really know.

I played a few Hecate games today, and her aspect absolutely slaps, even from mid. Her clear is worse off, true, but denying the enemy the use of abilities, or punishing them if they use them to clear is well worth it. And in late game team fights this regularly dishes out thousands of damage, and is on like 5 seconds of cooldown, so essentially always up.

Kukulkan: You can no longer create a whirlwind in an area. Instead, you are empowered by the wind and gain powerful bonuses to your attack speed and base attack damage. You are considered to be in the whirlwind for the duration. It's not really creative, but in my opinion it's relatively simple and easy to implement

Some aspects will shine better in different game modes. Nemesis aspect and athena aspect are crazy duel aspects for example

Fun aspect for Charon: ult trembles instead of fears, but it can be reactivated to recall it towards Charon

So I have NOT played on the new patch yet, but from what I have seen, I feel like at least half of the aspects they added are great ideas, but not pushed enough. The only 3 i feel are really great are Ra, Thana and Cern, and they all have in common that at least 2 or 3 aspects (no pun intended) of their kit changed, and, most importantly, these changes synergize, like thana could just have the passive changed but he also have a better 3 to compensate. Ra now has 2 abilities that have the same focus. Cern has changes on his 3 for similar reasons as thana. For most of the others : Athena, Anhur, Chaac (i counted 12 of them), the idea is cool but they stopped halfway. It's a beta, and they just introduced aspects, so it's fine really. But I hope they add more complexe aspects that change the god more so like Ra, and that they had a little something to those "half" aspects in the future, throughout the beta, because the ideas are crazy and fun already.

The Hecata aspect is for support so it actually works good for that role I played it and it does reduce damage

Im hoping they give Anhur a Support Style Aspect like increases his Base Health, Slows and Knock Ups, Knock Back and his Ult Cripples but lowers Str scaling on abilities and his pasive gives you Protection increase rather than protrction shred

Aspect ideas are cool but most of them just arent there imo. A lot of them are not that viable or straight up boring, which is disappointing. The Ra aspect is perfect imo and what they should strive to do for future aspects. Hopefully down the line they get a little jiggy with it

Isn't the goal of the Hecate aspect to make her more support-like? Does it fail to even do that right? Most of your point seems to focus on why it's bad for farming or fighting so that's why I'm asking.

It def is intended for that, but even then damage is important in the support role. It's pretty sick in every other game mode besides conq tho
