Glad to read that your lesson went well. Your teacher probably mentioned it - I hope so - but ergonomics is critical, even more so for us seniors. I read somewhere that the great Buddy Rich suffered in old age as a result of his esoteric posture behind the kit and for me, getting everything in that regard right is more important than anything else. My Mrs bought me Anatomy Of Drumming soon after I started and it gave very detailed and worthwhile advice. There's plenty on YT too, and Drumeo is also very helpful on that. I look forward to your next video.

Thanks for the comments. She did mention about adjusting the kit so it felt comfortable, I will look out for the book you mentioned though. I really enjoyed the lesson, just her picking up on the odd bad habit or correcting my style was great to learn. More videos soon and thanks for the encouragement. All the best, Gary
