I’m glad that we got this game! I use to play the arcade a lot at this retro store back then! My only down side to this game is ( i know some of yall gonna say git guud) which I’m in training mode most of the time but the only down side is when you do the arcade mode you get like 4 continues and that’s it I’m not sure if I’m the only one but as a person who trophy hunts especially in fighting games to where you gotta compete arcade mode is a little turn off but other than that it still draws me to keep playing!

That's the spirit, stylish combos by Mexican and Brazilian KOF/SNK players especially from retro CMVs from back in the early internet days are definitely hard to get by without a fully-fledged understanding, but not giving up is totally the answer. Having fun first, with the cool stuff coming second! I used to drop kof2001 so early in my arcade runs, one of the moments of truth for me is when I finally got to beat the game without the continue bonuses. Same with 2003. All what's left for me is to take on the next challenge to get good at 2002 so I can finally get to beat Omega Rugal properly in that one, especially since my very first W was like hours and hours of team play and trial and error without continue bonuses that I barely even remember 😂 Never be out of the ring! Magaki from XI is also revenge worthy, lol

Deadly Arts is one of my favorite N64 games! sure, it's like a rough, jank Virtua Fighter with a bit of either delayed or too early hit confirms... but everything about the game makes it a decent title in my book that I always revisit and play. Kensei on the PS1 definitely takes the crown, though.

Love this game. The thing about it is it can be played in every country especially the poor ones. Also the DoDonpachi track in background is much loved.

Hellz yeah! Ive always loved this title. Fun fact i got this for the original XBOX 19 years ago on the day of the US release. Such a odd beauty. First character i completed the game with was Leopold Goenitz, cuz hes cheap asf

The whole crossover saga is a peek inside the two company's development philosophy. SNK really wanted the crossover to be more inclusive selections, they wanted more gameplay variety. Then on the other side of the coin, Capcom just made a very safe roster and with very safe system. History knows that Capcom's games were better playing games, but I can't help but think SNK's SVC games were more exciting.

As far as ports go, this one is really great from Code Mystics. Big lobbies with customization, options to toggle flash & blood, not to mention theres a replay take over feature I forgot to mention, downside is replays are gone after you close the game. But still cool thats a feature, i dont think thats in any of the other SNK ports by Code Mystics.

Lot of people complian the color edit mode from the xbox version is gone and you only get 4 contuines in arcade mode . In the states this game never came to ps2 only O.G. xbox unless you lived in asia or south America ! Lastly before svc chaos there was Svc match of the millennium for neo geo pocket color ..... if enough people buy this and svc chaos maybe capcom will re release cvs 1 and cvs 2 ultimately sequels to both the cvs and svc series down the road in the near future , capcom has even stated they are showing intress in making new marvel vs capcom and capcom vs snk games Meanwhile snk has funding from a Saudi Arabian company so they can make better quality games Like kof xv and ff:cotw

Cvs 2 you could have gotten on Ps3 psn store and its difficult To emulate sega naomi hardware games Lastly lot of people hope this new port of svc chaos will also lead to snk re release Of kof xi and neo geo battle Coliseum

They had a KOFXV/COTW developers panel at evo and talked about them making a samurai shodown action rpg along with planning to make another art of fighting. Also keep in mind their partnership with ARIKA that was announced earlier this year with ARIKA planning to help revamp their non-fighting game titles too. So dont worry, theres stuff in the works. Doing these re releases does 2 important things, first it allows people to be able to play these games with modern netcode/ features and secondly it helps towards making of new games/content.

its not a new game its re released PS2 game and its just another mediocre rushed release of SNK / PLAYMORE if they had more time maybe we would get something good , instead we get this. I wish everybody should stop creaming their pants because old half baked game was released on modern platform, there are better titiles in SNK / NEO GEO library that deserve full online functional release than this one.

Seeing how this whole commnet just shows you didnt watch the vid, ill tell you that in it i said ill try to respond to everyone that comment, even stupid ones like yours so here we go. in the video I go into the video explaining the previous release of the game. Its almost like I explain that this is a re release of the 03 game. But since we're wishing for stuff, ya know what I wish for? I wish people like you could take a moment and actually watch a video and try to control the urge to face roll across ya keyboard and realize what the hell the video even said. No shit sherlock its a port, everyone knows that. Whats important is the new features thats in the port along with the netcode that makes it fun to play, no one is calling this game perfect in anyway. Its also a step closer to CVS1 & 2. We've already gotten card fighters and svc match of the millennium ported. Hell I literally said that IN the video, but once again people like you gotta be the "hm well actually, theres better games that deserve full online" yet crazy how those better games havent gotten it yet. ​​@@DecepySwag Cuzzo don't waste your time tellin' em; it's all good, sadly a lot of great games are reviewed by an incompetent playerbase online, it's not the game's fault. Examples: -The Dynasty Warriors series -SvC Chaos -Sonic Unleashed, 06, Heroes, hell any 3D title, it became a new trend to hate Sonic himself along with sudden new "reviews" for Adventure 1&2, let's not forget IGN throwing shade twice 😂😅. -The Bouncer -Devil May Cry 2 -Dragon Ball: Final Bout and Ultimate Battle 22 being constantly bashed -Star Ocean series, especially 3&4 getting all the hate and flack by people who won't land combos in either titles or do enough inventory, character grinding, and weapon development. -Final Fantasy 13's trilogy, literally one of the PS3 GOATs I can't name more but people will whine and complain about anything. I, for one, was literally jawdropping hearing SvC Chaos got released again 😳 sadly too busy irl 🥺, but when I get the time and pick up the tech and hit confirms again, I assure you that I will be literally having a field day with it. I think another example that comes to mind is the 2003 tmnt trilogy by Konami, those games were honestly PEAK, I revisited Turtles in Time the other day, and honestly I wasn't having fun, the hitbox got so spongy and outdated while those titles on the PS2 are fun and energetic. Can't please everyone either by the end of the day, but there's always a benefit of the doubt that should be at least given before trying out any game title out there.
