Hi Lyn! Thank you again for talking about mental health and other issues people may have. You being so honest about it helps me to deal with what’s happening with me. I do know one thing for sure we can be very hard on ourselves and especially question our parenting skills. Lyn every parent out there I believe makes mistakes that’s how we learn. I myself have made many and I know I will make more, but at the end of the day I pray to God to help me become a better person and give me the strength that I need to cope with this awful illness. Hi Lynn! I have allergies and asthma. I went to Target and bought allergen pillow case covers that go under your pillow cases as well as the mattress protector. The brand is allerease. The mattress protector is a like a giant pillow case cover for your mattress, it’s a pain to take on and off, but it helped me a lot! Just wanted to share!

I HIGHLY recommend an AirDoctor air filter. It’s amazing and gets everything out of the air and your home, from allergens, smoke, down to virus particles. They make different sizes for different rooms. We’ve had one for years and love it.

Hi Lynn, you are right about giving yourself grace and forgiving yourself for not getting things done. I had a Kirby for many years. I absolutely loved my Kirby, but my husband didn’t. I ended up getting rid of it. I kick myself for doing so.

My Mum invested in a Kirby wow it was over thirty years ago easy, she loved it I remember there wasn’t a day that someone’s mattress was being hovered or a carpet being cleaned, plus all the regular hovering, it was her best friend…her word’s not mine . The worst problem I have is my darling wife Lisa she can drink coffee day and night but she can also fall asleep with a coffee in her hand so yep coffee stains on the bedroom carpet 😳. Hey ho if that’s as bad as it gets 🤗. Can’t wait to see to see the rest of the tile clean so far very impressed. Take care sand thanks

Lynn, I use liquid tide in my carpet cleaner. I just put it into the solution area and it does such an amazing job and smells good. There have been some stains that I have to go back over again. I have even gotten mustard on my white carpet in the past. I as well had a cat that use to have accidents on the carpet. It got all the smells and stains out. I can’t believe that Emma is already walking. She is so cute.

We had fruit flies too. I put some regular vinegar in a glass covered with Saran Wrap and poked some holes in the top and placed on my counter. The fruit flies went in and can’t get out. In a few days they were gone.

Thats besides the motivation to clean. Thanks for all that you do! Also, amazon has furniture blockers that might help with the stuff getting under the furniture. I got them for my dog's toys. I've seen hacks where you put a pool noodle under the front of your couch to keep stuff from going under it, dollar tree sometimes has white ones so they wouldn't show to much.

Hi Lynn! I must confess, almost any flat surface is a dump zone for me. Kitchen table, dining table, coffee table and even sometimes on the counter. I hate this of me but once I clean it off I start piling it back on. Lol. It would definitely help if I didn’t have so much stuff. I’ve been trying to work on that but it’s a work in progress. I don’t think there’s any cordless vac that does as well as a standard vac but I’d think that the Dyson would be better than the other cordless, would you agree? You put on great videos, Lynn White!!😘

Tip. Check your drains too. The fruit flies could be breeding in the drain. Clean out all the drains and pour some bleach dow there. Let it sit in the drain for about 30 minutes and then pour boiling hot water in the drain to flush the bleach DLL the way thru. Also don’t leave anything like wine or mouthwash or like you said apple cider vinegar out uncovered. It will attract more fruit flies. Hope that helps.

Lynn, I really appreciate your honesty and openness. It is very true. We are so much harder on ourselves and don't forgive what we do as quickly as we forgive others. Thank you for that message. As far as your fruit flies. Are they gnats? I am battling with "fungus gnats" from my houseplants and the one thing recommended was to put bowls of apple cider vinegar out because they will be attracted to it. It works but I still have them. It is ongoing! I have a bunch of plants but all it takes is one to have it and it is so contagious among plants. Let me know if you come up with a solution. I am thinking of buying "Catchey" on Amazon which attracts gnats and fruit flies.

How I do under sofas is take you a small shop vac and on the shop vac there are two places to put your hose one for suction and one that blows so put the hose on the blow side and you can take and blow out stuff that gets hung up under the sofas, and you won't have to move the sofas to get to it

To get rid of the fruit flies put apple cider vinegar in an open cup with a few drops of dish soap.

I had fruit flies a few months ago and I had found that we had a leak under our sink and the water that was standing in a bucket under our sink was just breeding fruit flies so check for any standing water around your kitchen or bathrooms... Also if your fridge or freezer door has an ice maker check the tray on the outside of the door for standing water... They had also gotten in there on mine.

Lynn I would try using the rug doctor carpet cleaner I moved into the home I'm In now and the carpets were trashed I used that and it made them look brand new .

Sprinkling baking soda or anything is not a great idea. It can’t be completely removed and attracts dirt.
