There is a message in all of Creed's and Scott Stapp's music. If it wasn't for their music I wouldn't have made it through all I have had in my past Addiction and now I am dying and it helps me because I can relate to so much of their music.

This is so far my favorite solo by him. He really needs his band back together to make it happen. Their harmony, melody together helped make such a great band. His lyrics are so heart felt and meaningful. They are very inspiring, for me at least. I wish there were people out here that knew they could measure up to the old creed so they could help him get back to the greatness he once was. God save his soul. Good thing he had his wife's support the whole time. I love how she handled the situation.

March 1devotional comes from 1 CO 15:58 NIV A career is something you choose; a calling is something you receive. A career is something you do for yourself; a calling is something you do for God. A career promises status, money, and power; a calling generally promises difficulty, suffering, and the opportunity to be used by God. A career may end with retirement and lots of toys; a calling doesn't end until you die. A career can be disrupted by any number of events, but God enables you to fulfill your calling even in the most difficult circumstances. For some people in Scripture obeying the call of God meant living in slavery, being captured and sent into exile, or being put to death. Their career trajectories didn't look promising, yet they fulfilled their calling in extraordinary ways...In the providence of God, the end of your career can be the beginning of your calling. SO whatever God has called you to do, the Bible says, "Give yourselves fully to the work...because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." This is quoted from the Daily Devotional: The Word for You Today from The Uprising Church. I was able to take this pamphlet for free from Community Pharmacy.

I'm an alcoholic. By the grace of God I'm alive and have been sober for over 3 years now. (July 17th 2011) But it took a long time to get there. And I still struggle with it so much. My uncle was an alcoholic, and when I was 17 years old he committed suicide. So I know it really is life or death. I don't know if I'll be able to stay sober forever. Some days it's really, really, hard. I just try to think about my uncle. I loved him so much. And I feel like the best way to show my love for him is to learn from what he went through. Stay strong! God bless you

Mark I am enjoying another day of sobriety TODAY. I stumbled yet again after my seizure episode. I was sober almost 4 months went back out and got clean again August 7th. Most days I am okay, I just have to stay home and know that for now I can't go places that serve or sell alcohol. All of my childhood friends drink so I can't go anywhere with anyone it seems because everyone is either drinking, nursing a hangover, talking about drinking or planning their closest gathering on Facebook and inviting me. It is hard but I have to keep reminding myself that I don't want to be there and drinking for me is NOT an option, ever!! Thanks for asking about me, now tell me how you are getting along. It does feel good to share with someone that really understands,,,,,

Carrie I am so excited to hear about your success in sobriety. I struggle at least 2-3 times a week. Sometimes more depending on what is going on. I have battled this addiction for over 2 decades and I am not about to give it full reign. I do fall but it does not take me long to get back up. Thanks to the mercy and grace of God. Thanks for sharing :-)

"In Sinner's Creed, Scott shares his story for the first time-from his fundamentalist upbringing, the rise and fall of CREED, and his ongoing battle with addiction, the rediscovery of his faith, and the launch of his solo career. The result is a gripping memoir that is proof positive that God is always present in our lives, despite the colossal mess we sometimes make of them." Creed is no more people.

I should mention that Mark and Scott have already confirmed that there will be a Fifth Creed album but the recording process will be delayed so AB can tour to promote their 2013 album. No need for comparisons either because both bands are great in there own unique way. All members are super multi talented musicians, you have to be to take on so many projects like they all do and I look forward to many more years of Creed, AB, All of there solo albums.

I’m a big Scott Stapp fan, and I love Creed’s music. I remember when I was 23 I went to one of their concerts in Michigan. Mind you, I’m an African American from Detroit. Well anyway, thru out the concert I had at least four different groups of people come up to me and ask me how much for drugs, and I was dressed pretty casual, just in case if anyone was wondering if I had on the stereotypical urban wear. One guy assured me that he wasn’t a cop, and I assured him that I wasn’t a drug dealer. I just thought of that anecdote as I was listening to this song. I found those experiences more funnier than offensive. It was a great concert and I had a great time. I literally cried when they performed with Arms Wide Open. Everyone had their lighters out and Scott poured his soul out. Nostalgia.
thank you Amber I really liked this. You always can make me smile the same as cry. Please come home to me. I love you
