I don’t know why they put the USB and HDMI on back and then have you run extension cables out. It would be a much.cleaner design if they simply had those along the bottom strip where the physical buttons are.

Can you confirm that indeed both usb options would power it?! I thought I saw somewhere it said that the usb 2 option doesn't generate the same power output. Just curious. Thanks for the video just purchased one of these.

@@BigUchieGurb just usb 1 will power it. When I tried usb 2 it would power up but the reboot immediately and continue to do so.

It does not have wireless android auto but the Sony XAV-AX6000 and XAV-AX4000 does

The best we have found at the moment is to use a hotspot from your phone or cellular device

Considering this for a '09 Hummer H3 with the Monsoon speaker system. Anything special I will need to do or purchase for this vehicle? Mainly getting it for the Apple CarPlay so hopefully it will continue to get some updates for a little while.

Your best case would be using a hotspot from your phone or tablet to provide the signal to the firestick
