From what I can gather, those with red eyes are naturally gifted in blood magic. So this void entity lady is taking them to make pure blood crystals, which seem to grant immortality to their wielder. She needs to hunt them all down, as any person with red eyes would have the capacity to undo all that work, since they can use blood magic too. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm getting.

took your advice, played the demo (beat the first boss in like 25 or more attempts, currently stuck on the second boss) it is AMAZING the movement feels very quick, but not uncontrollable, the dodging is AMAZING (that sound when ya dodge perfectly is great), attacking feels amazing as well, cuz it doesnt give invincibility frames. all in all, that is going RIGHT on my wishlist, its a great game, amazing bosses, every hit feels like your own fault, just a 10/10 game

8:12 The deaths should have unique horror to them, well atleast for the bosses who lean into that anyway, Having the beast which I'm assuming is mainly controlled by the Horned witch picking Ruby up and doing something uncharactic of itself in Surgercally removing her eyes and leaving them on the ground. Then suddenly tearing her body apart, something to make the deaths feel unique to the boss you fight so you can feel the impact of your failure and drive to improve.(Unless her dying realm is more fitting to the lore)

6:16 I wished the game added an element of puzzling so you'd be figuring it out through how she would, Ruby If I remeber that being her name is a child and I would think that after a Nightmare she'd focus more on a looks of her loved ones than names. That way you can be retruduced to these people, including their name through that puzzle. Basically it's paying attention to descriptions of looks: Owlman or Roy: Find your savior, the man that sees from all sides with or without his Helm. Wichiwi: Find the big slimy plushie, who enjoys witchcraft and potion making. actually that just a decriptor of character and If I take the visuals right the owlman is him, It's just a cool way to implement storytelling by basically checking if you were paying attention to the make mission easier.

Its not free, but I still want to bring your attention to it. If not for the combat, then at least for the visuals and music.

you know... I wrote an entire script for that game... I've already played over 100 hours... and... I just can't... it's so sad, it's so close to being a GREAT game but... it's just flat out missing too many things. It's only an "Okay" game with fantastic visuals. But it's horrifically unbalanced and at times, beyond repetitive which SUCKS for a roguelite... like REALLY sucks. I already made a post to their discord covering all the changes that could be made, some of them are as simple as a checkbox allowing the user to DISABLE certain unlocks which would COMPLETELY FIX THE GAME!!! but alas... gearbox has taken yet another great thing from us...
