Hey buddy, I admire your dedication to fixing the garbage and flaws Greenlight been producing. They have such great subject matters and interesting models that it’s a crying shame that can’t find a factory who would assemble their products properly. The only alternative to this is for Greenlight to sell their 1/64 models as kits and let the consumer assemble them. At least you will have a better chance of fixing any issues than getting stuck with a vehicle you can’t do much to.

M2 used to do ones that you can assemble with many tire options. ERTL too with their Body Shop releases.

@@robchamberlin4900 Thanks for the comment. At least some makers of diecast cars will allow you a chance to assemble the purchase of their product. If only Greenlight would do the same.

I have the complete set of Blazer/Jimmy set. I did change wheels on the red one with mags looks better. I also changed wheels on the orange one with gold wheels looks better. I also put mags on the black one with flames. Looks better too.

The real square body models were built from 1973 - 1991, except the half ton & three quarter ton regular cab pickups ended in 1987 & the one ton regular cab pickups ended in 1989. Also the square body pickups were the first Chevys & GMCs to have a bigger cab which was a crew cab introduced in 1973.

Mig, instead of using glue why not use Mounting or adhesive putty? You can remove the roof attachment anytime and not risk chipping away the paint if you ever wanted to change the tops.

Great cars but why the hell there is no mirrors. I know that in real 1/64 scale mirrors will be totally small but maybe way that going Matchbox is better with casting mirrors with doors or body part.

Greenlight has so many great ideas but i always find the quality to be iffy at best. The tires bother me the most. I find auto world to be outstanding quality but as a dodge guy there isnt any trucks i know of in the 1/64 scale. You may be thinking whats your point? Well, you know much more than me so my quaestion is why does auto world lack in the dodge truck department? Any thoughts or ideas on this you have time to share? I have other pickup truck makes from them and the quality is top notch. Would just like to see some Dodge Trucks. Im sure im not alone. Take Care

I think Dodge comes third maybe in popularity for trucks but maybe not, they actually would be my first choice. Possible reason the diecast makers make less or Not at all of the Chrysler corp trucks. anyway you may be happy to know GREENLIGHT will be releasing this year the 70s-93 D series trucks so I am excited for that.

@@Migs_Models very good point. They have always been the least popular as far as sales go until recently. It's the only brand of truck I have driven since I was 16 years old. 35 now so I try to collect as many as I can. It's nice to own the diecast variants of what you grew up with. I'm sure I'll purchase a couple of those green lights but I am always let down.

Nice cars but they come fool of defects, uneven wheels ,smudges smudges etc.I usually turn into a mechanic and try to fix them a bit!
