Damn it Chad! Thats a lot of head....really nice shape, and great numbers! Almost makes me wanna leave Ford....almost. I'll definitely push this head on future builds....if they're available.

What intake manifold did you run did you run on the camaro. Also what elbow and throttle body. I have first fuel injection tpi but I think that intake would be a little bit of a restriction with these heads.

You do some excellent work and your not afraid to address the short side i would think that they are some very fast cars using your heads good job sir 👍

Loved how you explained how you don't want higher lift numbers backing up☝️Do you tilt the floor right before the short turn and are you eyeballing the shape if the short turn or have a template gauge or a CNC program? I did V6 18 degree heads in 1988 which flowed 370 cfm ( no CNC machines just eyeballing and templates )

Nice head. That's probably the best smaller head that I've seen outside of something like a NHRA SS head where big money is spent to maximize everything possible. All that I can say is awesome job!!!

Fantastic to see these finally out and with super impressive numbers for 205cc. VERY glad to see you went with the stock location exhaust ports instead of the Profiler raised ports but unmoved bolt holes (I think ATK was the first to have Profiler make a casting with the stock placed exhausts). What’s the difference between the Street CNC and the VFactor CNC ports? On paper they seem the same in features and I was kind of shocked to see the same pricing on the street heads. Happily shocked to see you talking about valve job details so freely, too. Always seems to be treated as a secret by others.
@SpeierRacingHeads2 жыл бұрын
The street heads cost loaded what the VFactor heads cost bare. The VFactor heads are the dedicated cores and we put everything in them. I buy them cubed. So the 205 and 220cc street heads are in the 195cc casting.

Chad great work! A question, why do some heads from guys loose at 700 valve lift then start to get slightly get better up to 900-1.00? I didn’t know if this was something like the air “stacking up “ on the long side , creating a track jam I guess you could say? You thoughts are greatly appreciated . Thank you kindly! Matt

IMO, the short side still isn't correct.

Very nice. Would they be a good choice for a 421. Cruise at approximately 2000 and rev to 6500. Hydraulic roller. 69 Camaro street car? Would like to drive it anywhere.

I've seen an equation that many use to figure out your min csa requirement for a motor. Bore x bore x stroke x max rpm x .00353/ 613.8. In your case 4.155 x 4.155 x 3.875 x 6500rpm x .00353/ 613.8= 2.50". The 2.30" min csa of this head may be a bit small for your combination.
