I can say with some certainty after testing multiple iterations of this type of deck that any version with "Analyze the Pollen" has performed worse than those without it. It's just a card that doesn't work too well in the meta and you'd almost always want to have something else. For some reason I find I rarely have enough in my graveyard to cast it. That said, the deck is still good and I won over 50% of my matches. But 2 other builds I have of this were in the 70-80% range in Bo3.

Yep, I have tried various iterations of this deck and they are fun to play, especially in Bo3. Even in Bo1 it can be effective if you get a decent start against red. And, I've run into several control players (looking at you "Korben Dallas") who ragequit (i.e., force you to wait for their timer to expire) against this one when you start dropping Avatars with Cavern of Souls!

this is fire sloth holy shit.... ive been playing with pollen for some time but i never thought about golgari.... im currently playing a mono black deck that is named not golgari and it plays 3 green sources to cast tear asunder bc of the overlords and talents that are rampant but otherwise its mono black demons but i may have to try pollen in that deck. on another note tho sloth.... thousand year storm.....crime novelist.... whenever you sac an artifact crime novelist adds 1 red mana to your mana pool aka treasure makes 2 mana so now youre able to really go off with the storm enchantment 😅

How are mono red players so stupid what? That one game where they didn't even target the screaming nemesis makes it painfully obvious that mono red is so broken that even the most inexperienced/braindead players can reach high ranks if they use it.
