All your recent vlogs make me laugh when you walk outside when it’s starting to rain. I went to USF and didn’t own a car. I rode my bicycle to school and work (at Publix) and always got caught in the 4:30 downpour this time of year! I moved away from Tampa in 2009, but I still remember those days like they were yesterday!

The glass just in the wire basket, we have something similar and we use it for our loose change, when it gets full we change it in for cash and put it towards a vacation. Our jar holds a couple hundred dollars worth!

Bathing our newborn: (warming: I was ridiculous) we bought the cheap IKEA baby tub and I would fold one of my big bath towels and put that down in the bottom and then fill it with water (so yeah, after every bath we had a huge sopping wet bath towel). When my son could finally prop up, we got the Bloom tub flower from Target and put it in the kitchen sink which was easier, comfy for him, and I didn’t feel like he was sitting in a yucky sink. 😂 loved that thing! Would’ve bought it sooner to line the baby tub if I could go back in time.

I think typical craft stores always sell seasonal items a lot earlier than other stores so the crafters can prepare - the home decor section I don't understand... haha but We usually see fall stuff in normal stores right after back to school in August!

I’m excited about summer and fall stuff, too! I haven’t done much, besides put out sea shells in glass bowls, but I love looking at everything stores have out. Crunch wrap supreme is where it’s at! The closest Taco Bell to me is like a 30 mile drive, so it’s practically a delicacy! 🤣

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I need to remember to check Burlington for car seats! I'm super particular (needs to be lightweight, gender neutral, no rethread, breathable fabric, etc) so I need the savings because at Target I'd be posting over $200 for the infant seat alone. We used the Skip Hop tub for my daughter and loved it. I really think it's worth the money.

Best baby bathtime: get in the tub with them! The skin to skin is great, keeps them warm, calm, and feeling secure. Once they are a little bigger, a bathroom sink, then kitchen sink once they can sit up well.
