Whatever is easiest for you is fine. I would think when you are chopping and cooking that it may be easier for you to do voice-overs to coincide well with where you are in a particular recipe. It seems perhaps more dangerous to be paying attention to what you are saying while you are cutting things. Love the look of delight on Sydney's face when she got to lick the spoon used to spread the yogurt for the bark. Would life be worth living without garlic and onion and lemon and...? Fresh, juicy tomatoes? Ground black pepper? I am not fond of sweet wines, but then I'm not too fond of sweets in general. I am more a savory type. I would prefer seconds of savory portions than to have dessert, generally speaking. Now I would not turn down some chocolate chip mint ice cream with Sydney or a fruit/berry pie of some type or melons, stone fruits, things like that and maybe with cheese. But, I'm a native Bostonian who is not fond of Boston cream pie. You did a chiffonade of basil and pronounced it correctly. It is good to see someone cooking in a real kitchen, healthy summer recipes, and with Sydney, too.
