I agree with the folks saying they enjoy seeing you troubleshoot! A lot of us go through these same issues so I love seeing how you fix things! That pink blush is so pretty and shame it doesn’t stay. The Ciele tint is so pretty definitely trying it. I love that it has spf so it can top off my typical spf I wear!

IMO, one of your primary strengths over other beauty influence channels is the comparison element. For most of us, there's a bottom to the bucket on spending. I don't buy a lot at the drug store because of formula and shade limitations, so I really want to know how the $$$ products from higher end brands perform against one another, as there is not alot of value for me in simply watch someone put a product on their face and ooh and ahhh over it. Thanks for bringing us this value and for your consistent honesty in sometimes having to say ~ skip it it's not worth it. I think alot of them are afraid if they say that, they'll get no more PR. Maybe. Don't know. But I come here for the comparisons. Keep it up, kiddo.

The Supergoop also has chemical sunscreen ingredients (Zinc Oxide 13.58%, Homosalate 7.0%, Octisalate 5.0%) - I like that Ciele is just mineral.

Zinc oxide _is_ a mineral sunscreen ingredient, but I appreciate you posting the info. Zinc oxide on darker skin gives all kinds of ashy. I can't even wear sunscreen without looking like the tin man.p.

Very interesting. As an oily/combo gal, I *hated* the Ciele. It accentuated my texture and actually made my skin feel dry and tight. The color also seemed patchy. Returned it so fast. The blush was the same. Broke my heart bc I had such high hopes.

The big difference between the Ciele and Supergoop is exactly the amount of coverage, which in terms of sunscreen products (if you were to use it as a main sunscreen step) would be a benefit for the lower coverage one (supergoop). I can’t imagine using the amount of ciele you need for spf coverage, but you actually could use the quarter teaspoon of the super goop on your face for proper spf coverage and not look crazy.

You have to use more of the supergoop because it’s a sunscreen not a foundation and again for people with deeper skin tones products like this (especially in the US where our filters are decades behind the rest of the world) are much needed.

I don’t know about the efficacy of applying sunscreen with a sponge? I usually goop on the supergoop play then follow with a skin tint and it’s the perfect combo for my dry skin. I don’t know about relying on a skin tint for anything but a cute little skin enhancing. Definitely into the ciele!

The MILK makeup cream stick is one of the few items that I fully gave to my 6 year old because I can’t figure out when or why I would put it on my face. She, however, looks amazing in it - totally unbridled, unhinged, full-face application…major David Bowie vibes…like, she could probably point her MILK makeup face to the sky and receive signals from space. Worth it.

I am "of the age" where I finally invested in a laser treatment to fade my hyperpigmentation. Now I must use SPF every day to protect that investment. I have tried a couple of mineral sunscreens (which are a must for me as standard sunscreens break me out) but they have been off the mark. Kackie is so in love with Ciele Tint & Protect that there is no way I am not going to try it. Fingers crossed it will be the one that works for me!

I love using a super cool toned blush to fix weird bronzer colors. Anytime I feel my bronzer is pulling too olive or dark, I slap some blush on all over, and it neutralizes so beautifully. This is coming from someone who is not a blush girly and avoids pink like the plague 😂

I'm actually enjoying the Protec(tint). I wish it were more sheer but need the SPF. I get decent spread using my fingers. That said, now you've got me wanting to try the Ciele. Dang it, Kackie!

I have a whole graveyard full of lipglosses that are disappointing. I’m waiting for Haute Cocoa to come back. I just ordered my shampoo at Sephora and Makeup by Mario just launched a Master Mattes Neutral (cool) palette. I’m not an impulse buyer but I was trying to talk myself out of buying the Ethereal Eyes palette, (too many celestials. I’m 67 and cool toned.) when I saw the new release I didn’t hesitate to get it. I bet it sells out quicker than Ethereal Eyes. I love the grey color in it. Pleeeease review it. I need your guidance on the colors in it. YES. Could we maybe get a comparison of all the popular (mineral) SPF skin tints? These 2 of course, but Live Tinted dropped a new SPF50 skin tint, the Saie slip is SPF35. I love the Ciele one.

I find the blush lasts longer if I use the YSL blur primer and fix + setting spray at the end. MAC has a stay all day fix + , I m going to try it and see if it is even better

Hey Kackie, the Ciele website doesn't discuss undertone. I'm stuck between the lightest 3 shades. Do you have a comment on those undertones? (I can't purchase Ciele in Sephora Canada so this is a gamble purchase for me)

Hi! I have seen the 3 lightest shades in person at sephora and I myself have purchased shade 3. I am usually fair-light and neutral-warm leaning. The lightest shade is your true porcelain/very fair. Shade 2 runs more pink and shade 3 is a more neutral-warm. It’s not super neutral but not super warm a good in between in my opinion. For reference I would be somewhere between nc15-nc20 in MAC and Gobi-deuville in NARS (but none of those shades are as good as shade 3 in the ciele skin tint for me) I personally tend to have a hard time finding neutral foundations that don’t pull too pink & most warm foundations pull too yellow for me. Shade 3 is incredible if you fall in that light skin neutral-warm category. I am actually on my second bottle of shade 3. This skin tint is honestly incredible and feels so good on the skin/great ingredients ! 10 out of 10 recommend. Hope this helps!

The Milk Makeup Kush lip oils feel so redundant! Thanks for confirming. I already got the cookie dough one out of curiosity, and I was sort of appalled I paid $36 CAD for it. I don’t like it any better than the Tower 28 clear gloss which was $22 CAD. I really don’t see the point of Milk releasing all those different flavors of lip oil when they look identical on the lips; the product photos on the Sephora website for each color (applied to the lips) seem to be literally the same photo lol. Why not at least make the tint of each one meaningfully differ? You can have a relatively sheer formula that at least has SOME discernible pigment on the lips.

Hyaluronic acid in the Supergoop, not for me :( why does this ingredient have to be so trendy!? Even though it basically does nothing and can even dry your face out or, as in my case, cause a reaction. The Ciele works pretty well for me

I've tried both, and they're both great but very different! The Ilia one is the epitome of moisture and glow. It's *quite* shiny, but feels delightfully hydrating on the skin and really soothes my sensitive rosacea skin. The Ciele has a much thinner, more slippy texture, blends in very quickly, and while it offers coverage, it looks like absolutely nothing on the skin and has a very natural finish.
