You disconnected the sway bar end link on the second side. The sway bar was holding everything from flexing

I adjusted my coils like a few months ago and I also had the same problem where I felt that the right side felt higher than the left even though I measured everything evenly and it was bugging me but after a while I kinda just got used to it

It looks way better, my z came with lowering springs I think it’s time for me to buy some coilovers I’m just scared to install them myself since I don’t have no clue how it’s done but your video gave me an idea. What coilovers you recommend?
@lildavidgarcia11 ай бұрын
Just do a lot of research and watch a ton of videos on how to install coilovers that's what I do for everything haha. I'll sit on my laptop for like a week doing research on one thing on google and KZbin. Suspension is pretty easy to install its just time consuming and having the right tools helps a lot. Honestly these are the best ones I've ever had. You can look into Fortune Autos 500 series too. Those are more for the street I guess and they cost less. Never heard or read anything bad about them. Ohlins are also really good if you don't mind keeping the spring in the bucket OEM style. A lot of people run KW but I've read mixed reviews about them. Also, Fortune Auto is in the US and they have Great customer service. That's important to me.

Hey I own an 08 Z as well and recently started having the 5th gear grind problem like yourself. I bought the Z like 3 months ago and had 0 grinds in any gear. I feel like it might be my trans fluid because about a month and half after I bought it I took it to Nissan to get it changed and Ive had the issue since. They used mobil 1 synthetic gear oil so Im thinking of picking up redline mt90 and changing to that. If I shift slower and put it all the way to the right then up instead of banging the gear it wont grind for me. And before anyone mentions, I already adjusted the shifter plate 3 times and still grinds, sometimes itll grind and sometime it wont really just depends how I shift tbh.
@lildavidgarcia11 ай бұрын
Does yours have anything done to the trans? like a CSC delete kit? I kinda figured out how to shift also so it doesn't grind but its tricky still. My clutch pedal also started squeaking now so I'm guessing my throwout bearing is going out too. I was going to try trans AMS oil first but now I'm just going to replace the Z1 CSC delete because they're no good. I think I'm going to do the ZSpeed upgraded CSC I used too have in the blue Z. We will see if that fixes my Issue soon. Let me know if you figure yours out too please.
@oreonmilk186411 ай бұрын
@@lildavidgarcia not that I know of but I can ask the previous owner. My clutch seems fine and I haven’t heard it squeak. I took it to a mechanic and he said my clutch feels good still. I got 77k on my Z and seeing yours at 38k and already grinding sucks. I may do the csc delete in the future but I wanna try the trans fluid swap first

Ohlin's are in a class by themselves...no comparison to Fortune Auto even with SWIFT springs....the "Swedish Gold" (Ohlin's) will ride much smoother over bumps and better shock valving for better transitions too in various road conditions. Very very smooth but sporty....there's a reason Porsche comes with Ohlin suspension.

I’ll definitely have to get a set of Ohlins and try them out on the blue Z. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them and that’s what I was going to get for my S2000 that I sold
