If you choose to throw out the original bag where all the items came in that’s fine . The blow dryer and curling iron will go back into the original Kit wrap the curling iron with the top towels you will remove from the mannequin. Hope this helps

Hi It can be draped.. towel, cape . If you want to do towel cape towel that’s also fine whichever you decide to do will work just fine. @@megandickson6660 Our students use the same cape for eyelash, facial and waxing. They than change the cape into a Haircutting cape with neck strip for the haircut section. Followed by changing into towel cape towel for the chemical service, permanent wave , blowdry etc. For those sections they only change the top towel, but keep the same towel that’s underneath and the cape. Hope that helps. Also when in doubt you can change capes for each section if you prefer. Some students use disposable capes , it’s really up to you, as long as you are draping and making sure nothing is soiled.

Oh you need to practice this several times , I kept the marcel iron horizontally the entire time , you are wrapping the hair slowly around the barrel until you get all the hair in , use the rat tail comb to protect the scalp , than slowly slide the iron out sideways making sure your curl stays in place. ❤️

You turn it on at the same time, so that once you are done blowdrying the curling iron is ready to use. at the end of the section and when you are done disinfecting , remove the top towel that will be on the mannequin , use it to wrap the curling iron because it'll be hot to put back into your kit. hope this makes sense. Do not over think the test. You will do good.

@@Christlivesnher no don’t do that! Do not over think this test, make sure you have all items needed for each section of the test and just go, go over all the steps and go you can do it!!! Keep sanitation in mind at all times and do the best you can and try to finish each section . 🙏🏼

You CANNOT use anything that is expired . You have to use something that has your picture your name and date of birth and an expiration date. If you are not sure you have to correct IDs you should call and ask or else you will loose your money and will have to pay again so call and reschedule if necessary

Hi I’m taking the Tx practical like the one you’ve been posting about and was wondering if we need to wear a smock? I saw a video a while back saying that we needed one, but now that i think about it, it could of been for another state..or do we just wear an apron? I graduated in 2017 and don’t really remember anything about what we need to wear :/ please help lol

If you do not have a lab jacket I suggest you wear all black and close toe shoes, but you should try to get one and close toe shoes is a must

Glam And Beyond it’s like a off base curl, it’s a Debra mannequin, not a long hair one, the curl just doesn’t stay on head 🤯

Abigail Rodriguez are you wrapping it well around the barrel? Also are you holding it long enough for heat to go through... all that will make a difference. The marcel used is 3/4 inch.
