Great advise, Mark - it can't be overstated how important it is to enjoy the journey. While it can be hugely beneficial to set goals and milestones, the goal posts are constantly moving. And while it's important to acknowledge the wins along the way, those alone aren't going to make you happy - the high wears off and then it's onto the next thing. But if you enjoy the process of creating music and find continual inspiration and motivation, it becomes much more sustainable. Great to see you finding your stride with these production videos!

Is a studio album 💿 is like a chapter book 📖 or a movie or both this is what iamlxgend told me about a studio album and chapter book 📖 It is a cohesive collection of songs used to tell a bigger theme or project an overall vibe. Think of an album as a book. And your songs as chapters. Every book has chapters. Every album has songs. Each chapter is different. Each song is different. But the collection of chapters (the collection of songs) is what tells the full story of the book (of the album). But Jonathan Byrd he told me that Every song has a story. Some albums are just a collection of songs without the intention of telling the bigger story. Some albums are designed to tell a bigger story. Sequencing might be only about the way the music flows, but if the album tells a story than sequencing can do that too. is that true that sequencing is the only way how the album 💿 and song structure flows from start to finish?

I don't think there's any "one" right way to make an album, or make music. Some albums are very intentionally made and the songs are in a very specific order. Other albums might just be all amazing songs and ordered in a way that makes sense based on the journey of the dynamics, mood, etc, and not so much about story. There's many ways you can do it. Do what feels best to you.

In your own words why album sequencing important when recording a studio album 💿 and while listening to a song from beginning to end why every single listener should listen to the song from beginning to end from the very first song the very last song aka opening track and even the title track and the closing track of a song 🎵?

Honestly I don't really do full studio albums so I'm not a great person to ask. However, I LOVE listening to full albums :) I'll always be a fan of really well done albums that tell a full story, and take you on a journey from beginning to end. I'm a big fan of listening to albums all the way through and really investing time in getting to know them.

@@MarkHimley I concur 👍 with you mark.Think of sequencing as writing a story, it would be odd if in the 1st chapter the characters are introduced, and in the next chapter, they are dead. For your listeners, it would be awkward to hear a soft song that transitions into a heavy fast-paced song. Singles are what attract your listeners, but an album is how you make them into fans. You have worked hard to create and produced every part of your story, so take the time to focus on the sequencing. Listeners will easily skip from one song to the next, you need to give your listeners a reason to stay for the whole story, and not to skip chapters.
