Actually you don't have to use any app if you are not sure or don't feel like doing so. The alternative is CASH which is still accepted. Singapore has not gone totally cashless like in China.

@sonicwavestudio87222 жыл бұрын
@@applet2873 o ya, you can take grab too but it’s costly in SG. Since safety is good in SG , I can suggest that you can take (metered) taxi or bus.(if you can speak Hokkien and Chinese would be a plus point also as you can understand their local lingo and good rapport with them.

Something pretty cool -- BlueSG, a car sharing service but with only electric vehicles. Useful if you commute daily to another location (with a BlueSG parking lot) and prefer to drive. Take note that you'll probably need to have to convert your local driver's license to a Singaporean one before you can even register for it, but in the long term this might be good, especially with the crazy cost of owning a car here :)

Most of us use PayLah to pay each other as well. It’s become a verb 😆. Very common when you’re out for a meal with friends, we will always say “I’ll PayLah! you for my coffee.” Foodpanda and Deliveroo offer restaurants close to your neighborhood and maybe that’s why it seems like the food reaches you quicker. Grab doesn’t restrict the selection to just your neighborhood. Shopping-wise, you should also check out Qoo10. It has its own delivery fleet and if you choose a local retailer you can sometimes even get next-day delivery.
@NEAAFFAIRS3 жыл бұрын
Try using PayNow. It can be used with any bank. We say PayNow for my coffee. I switch from PayLah to PayNow because not everyone has a DBS/POSB bank account
