However, it’s not letting me add any new tone models saying that “you have added the max number of tone models for ToneX CS. Click here to upgrade…” But when I click on it, it shows that I own ToneX Max?!?! Please help. Thanks.

I've tried everything now and I'm really impressed! Thank you! All modulation effects sound excellent and I was mostly even able to leave the basic settings. The delays are simple, but sound good and finally there is a usable spring reverb! I had problems with the reverbs before the update. I think the plate reverb sounds great, I didn't liked all the others. I still have one wish: please give us a better room reverb, then I would be completely happy!

Does anyone know why I can no more bypass pedal processing with a switch? In interface mode my processing is doubled (app and pedal). Previously I could bypass pedal processing by clicking a foot switch, and now it is not working.

Will upgrading the firmware on the Tonex One decrease the bit-depth or sample-rate of the device's audio quality at all? I am just thinking logically that adding new layers of effects blocks must consume some processing bandwidth - so something has to give. I would prefer to keep a higher quality signal and stick with just the amp/cab sims, with other effects being separate to the pedal. What about the latency?

Hi, just got my Tonex and looking forward to diving deep into it. I was wondering how you recommend it's place in the signal chain, if I've also got a wah pedal and some post FX pedals?

Place the pedal like you would your amplifier. People usually like WAH first in the chain after the guitar, but it can be experimented on depending on what you want the WAH to filter (the dry signal or the FX signal). It’s all essentially just experimentation with your sound!

Need to connect the pedal to your computer or laptop after updating the app, it will tell you to update the firmware for tonex or tonex one in my case, nothing complicated.

Hi, AmpliTube and TONEX are AmpliTube and TONEX are two different products using different technologies: AmpliTube is made using analog modeling technology while TONEX uses a new technology called AI machine modeling ( www.amplitube.com/ai ). While analog modeling simulates the behavior of the whole circuit of the amp - with all the knobs, switches, buttons and their interactions - AI machine modeling gives an ultra-realistic simulation of the rig with a specific knob settings. So it's not that one technology is "better" than the other, it depends of what the final user's needs are: full editing and customization versus accuracy in getting a specific sound. Using them together gives of course the best of both worlds and a super-powerful amp-sim system. The two products are also different because AmpliTube can simulate the entire set up used in guitar recording (multiple serial and parallel rigs combining amps, all type of stomp effects, post effects, cabinets and microphones, etc.. with full editing down to the single gear), while TONEX is dedicated to simulates just amp, cabinets and certain type of pedals (distortions, overdrive, fuzz, EQ, boost) in each of their combinations. However TONEX can be used inside AmpliTube, as a sub-system of amps and pedals, again to have the best of both worlds. In fact, the latest update to AmpliTube 5 further enhanced the integration and it is better than ever. Note that this integration is in the software, the pedals are hardware that load TONEX Tone Models. And yes, the TONEX ONE also has the new FX.

The FX can be used on a stereo track, but TONEX was designed for a mono guitar input so it may take some tweaking to dial in your perfect sound.

apparently you can't tweak in real time, you have to load the preset then go to home tab make you tweaks the save them into the pedal, at least that's what I figured out. There has got to be a way to tweak in real time so can hear what it sounds like before you save to the pedal

Need the TRS footswitch jack to be updated to accept the Digitech FS3X (and other comparable 3 switch devices) to control bank up / bank down and Tap Temp. Then this unit will be far more flexible without having to get into complex midi programing - but still a very much appreciated update.
