"Not" or "Nothing" is the name of the album. So many hints. Wonder if he changes it to hide that someone caught on to it. I hope the album is "Not" and one of the songs are titled "Nothing". "Nothing is tracked" Paul saying "the world is just [not] ready for this album." Mjk's comment about "Not. Coming out this summer. So he has to get the Tool melodies and lyrics down to record in the studio yet. That takes time. Changes will probably get made, as most bands do in that process of the recording sessions. So they still have that, then they have to record to finished songs and edit, master, etc! But MJK has to tour with APC as I mentioned before... This album won't be out till December of this year if its gonna happen this year, lol, it'll be that late in the year. Ask Santa. I honestly think it will release a year from now. February or March of 2019. We've waited 11 years since 10,000 Days... I can wait one more for sure, lol! 😂 Why❓ Because WE ALL KNOW IT'LL BE WORTH THE FKN WAIT PEOPLE!!! This could possibly be their last record!! Blasphemy!!! But I know it's a real possibility! They could just tour for the rest of their careers. I love Tool and A Perfect Circle Puscifer is still growing on me. I don't even care how long it takes for a new tool album but I want them to take their time and I don't want to be some meth addicted fan who is on the border of threatening and harassing behavior just because things are taking too long for them. At least things are in motion and that is what you should be grateful for. Tool could just disappear for good. I think we have a guarantee for a spring release date. Maynard’s logic is to release albums in the spring or fall, and Tool only has two tour dates in late May at the moment. They released their last two albums in late April to Early May :)

Maynard has known his band mates a long time and knows they are perfectionists. I think his whole "we are a long time from an album" thing is his way of saying he knows that beginning of recording is just one step in a long progress. I think he is protecting their fans from disappointment if the album doesn't drop for many months or even until next year

Tool has a much more lengthy process when recording Ahave Patients and respect for this process and a record will be completed and released when it’s done. All good things to those who wait. Please don’t post any more ignorant comments about the time it’s taken for a new album, I and bla bla bla. I am seriously disappointed that fans have a sense of entitlement and feel like a artist owes them something. The reason why tool is such an amazing band is because they are artists and love what they do. As a fan I owe tool my respect and understanding and most important patients. I have never been disappointed with anything that tool has produced. Time is an illusion. stop waiting for something that you don’t control.

So, it took Adam, Danny, and Justin 11 years to write the music for the new album but it only took Maynard a few months to write the lyrics? I hope Maynard isn't mailing it in.

end of the day, i will wait as long as it takes. We all know this album is going to be quality. Actual great MUSIC (u know played with instruments), is all that has ever come from these guys. I promise you all, this is worth the wait.
