It’s funny because when someone said they didn’t like the music, I had a little moment of embarrassment because I was having so much fun with it and I worried that maybe she was speaking for a lot of people and that no one liked it. I felt so bad. But when I happened to mention it, so many people said they also loved it that I realized I can go ahead and keep it.

I think I own every concealer on the market…… always looking for the perfect one. The tower 21 is on its way to me. Should be here tomorrow. Right now my favorite is probably Huda faux filter and I don’t know where that falls into the spectrum.. any suggestions?

I really like the Huda as well. That one is on the slightly thicker side of medium but definitely medium thickness. Thicker than Mario and tower 28. But not Pat McGrath Labs. That’s getting crazy ha ha.

I also thought $22 was a great price point for this concealer. Some of these brands *cough Giorgio Armani cough* are getting real bold with these nearly $40 prices for a freaking concealer 😒

Not only that, but we run through these products. I can honestly go through a concealer a month. Granted, I takeoff and reapply make up all day when I’m filming so I’m using four days worth in one day but still, we go through this a lot and have to re-purchase of the price is very much appreciated. I agree.

It's the cost of the Tom Ford Concealer in Australia that blows my mind. I'd be expecting it to give me a face-lift at that price! Just like Rebecca said, we go through concealer at a higher rate to most products and these brands are taking advantage of this. I've found my favourites and sticking with them.💖

The Tower 28 concealer has 6.5 ml for $22 and the Armani Luminous concealer has 12 ml for $39 🤔 There isn't much of a difference in price between the two 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have to trust the process with you. The Tula concealer is the one that has caught my eye. Their skincare works well for me. Brands seem to forget the under part of undertones. It’s not supposed to be overt. I plan to check out the Haus Labs launch next month.

I think the Mario concealer did better with the DPoD. It could just be the color under your eyes was brighter. And it needed fixing every hour…blah! I don’t have time for that! I think You did just fine with the eyeshadow the other day. My look was similar when I tried it, it’s a little tricky with that pallet because a lot of the shades of the same and the shimmer looks so pretty so you want to dive right into the shimmers, that practice is going to take trial and error with that pallet. That was nice of you to redo it but you really didn’t have to. You stated many times that you are not a make up artist and I think you did a good job.

I like the concealer on you Rebecca. There have been so many new concealers, it makes it challenging to figure out which to try, hence your great video reviews. I used to use a SK-11 product underneath my eyes which made the dark circles disappear and has since been discontinued! Now I have to cover dark circles and bags carefully without creasing products. I’m waiting on my ND I need a nude eye shadow palette. It looks so pretty on you. Xx

You looked so pretty! I actually think at a the end with the other makeup products, the shade was nice. Not as bright as I worried it would be!❤ As soon as you applied it I was like “I gotta have it” even though I prefer a thicker formula. I am glad you did the update on the lip tint and looks like my first assessment to pass is still correct. I don’t want only 10 seconds before I start blending and even with the brush you still had a slight streak. The Natasha Denona is worth it every time just on the strength of her mattes. I loved good thorough video!💃🏿

I like the og one because it kinda fills my wrinkles and moves with the skin, though it does get cakey if I accidentally go heavy handed and dome days it doesnt want to hlend that well. unfortunately the thinner ones settle so much. Loved the video, and the review dear Rebecca!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Concealer is the most difficult makeup product when not being 30 anymore, at least here. So i loved to watch, this brand is not everywhere over Europe here, i believe a UK retailer has it, but loved the video, you look beautiful!!! It's even depending on how dry the skin feels, no matter how hard i prep with eyecreams and serums, really helps, but that also depend, how many airconditioning, just like with other makeup such as foundation, actually. However, concealer, being over 50 is more complex now, talking complexion products. Thanks so much for another super good video with the spectrum of concealers, also very informative!!! Will u try the live tinted and * fitglow skin beauty concealer ever , idk I heard they were amazing but again who knows cause the consistency thing u were talking about. Idk if I am a consistency queen but more of a finish type of person , I don't like anything matte or drying but some thicker ones I like and thinner but not too thick now. I don't wear foundation, I just use concealer on my whole face and blend really well from the places I put it, so I'm always interested in concealer reviews. I'm in my 50s and I have texture and I find that all foundations make my texture show even more, but if I use concelaer spread thinly it's much better. Both the Mario and the Tower 28 look great. I am most interested in the Tower28 because the colors seem to run lighter. I really have to see it in store though, because I am also super pale and have a hard time with shade matching. Thanks!

Rebecca ! I agree ! Shades are weird !!! I ran to my local Sephora and while the Mario was all gone already I wanted the tower 28 one anyway . So I bought a shade darker than the one I thought I would need. It is kinda strange ! It doesn’t really match ! And the other two are not my match either ! I’m thinking of returning it and getting the Mario ! So disappointed ☹️ I was really excited for this one.

Hello there!!! I would suggest this tower 28 actually. It’s a very natural look. Applies very easily. Nothing reflective or dewy and blends really easily.

You KNOW I’ve been waiting to this 😂I am pretty loyal to my Glossier, as I don’t need a lot out of my concealers, and as an aging gal heavy coverage is not my friend, and this seems perfect. I actually like that this is not in a pot. I MAY need to look into this when my stretch concealer is done. I was surprised that you preferred the Mario, but we all do need different things out if a concealer. Do you find the Mario more coverage/thicker?

Yasmin! First of all, let’s take a moment of appreciation for the Nars concealer and then Nars color corrector, the one that’s in a tube with a doe foot. That is some creamy beautiful concealer and corrector. OK. These are very similar to the tower 28 actually they’re on the lighter side of medium thickness. But, I will admit to you, the consistency is similar to tower 28 but the tower 28 covers darkness more effectively with one swipe. Neither product will crease under eyes especially when set with a little bit of powder.

Such a great question. So this applies and covers in pretty much one swipe, as the name of it says. It covers dark circles extremely well. It’s very creamy and goes well with foundation. The Surratt is much more like a thin layer that can be built depending upon where are using it. It’s more like a bit of a tool. So you can have a tiny little light layer that no one knows it’s there or you can build and build and build and it will never cake. So they’re kind of totally not apples and apples but very much apples and oranges even though they are both concealers. Both are wonderful products but just need to be used differently.

The Charlotte is smack dab in the middle in terms of consistency. Both Gucci and Tower are thinner. Two choices that are a little bit more like Charlotte in consistency would be the new Natasha Denona and the newest Tarte shape tape radiant. Neither have glitter particles and both are close in consistency to Charlotte. You could also give Tower a try but it is a much thinner layer then Charlotte so you might not like the consistency quite as much.

As a UK basted shade twin of yours, I had to guess my shade & buy from Revolve- so takes a week plus to ship. I went for 7.0 KTown after using the shade finder, so am hoping that works after seeing you went for 6.0 🤞

This is a great question, Susan. I had to think about it before I answered. They are similar in the fact that the shade choices run so light. I don’t actually have a proper match in the Surratt . They just go so light and so do these tower 28. The Surratt almost becomes a little more of a layering powder under the eyes. Like it just goes completely flat completely melts with the Foundation almost like it’s not another layer. In other words the formula is extremely thin and you kind of keep building it until you achieve the desired coverage. And that means you can work with it a bit more. The tower 28, however, is a little bit quicker in that it goes on in one coat and you’re done. So it really depends what you’re looking for. The tower 28 is a little bit creamier. The Surratt is a little bit more flat. Not dry, but flat.

I see so many good reviews on this concealer, and that it is good for dry skin. I looked up the Mario reviews, and many said it was too drying. I’ll look up your video on the Mario, but probably wouldn’t purchase that one. Right now, I’m using the new concealer by Chanel, and it’s really wonderful!, though very 💰. My splurge of the year. Lol. I really want the ND I Need a Nude palette, but it looks like a few shades in it are the same! Maybe, one is just a hair lighter, but same However, the shimmers! And her formulas are the best in matte, and shimmers. On the fence, lol.

Janice, strangely, I admit, I’m one of the only one who does not find the Mario concealer drying. But, you are absolutely correct, there are a lot of people who feel it dries. Best to stick to this one or wait for the Haus. Regarding the ND, yes, similar shadows for sure. Kind of looks on a varying spectrum.

@@janicecroissiert9116 hello Janice! Let me explain. You are so right. That was terribly confusing. I think I meant that the Natasha Palette is the same look but in varying degrees of darkness. So a light beige look more medium beige look more gray beige look a darker beige look. Do you know what I mean ha ha. Also, do you mean Sephora links for individual products? I definitely try to do that. But if it is a video like my merit video which I did in conjunction with the Brand then I need to link to their website, so it depends. But any one of my Sephora links even if they are for other products will work for the whole website. Just let me know anything you need because I’m so appreciative of your support.

Rebecca, another Complexion Product! These brands are really pushing them out the doors, reformulating and pushing these at us again! It's absolutely ridiculous. As much as concealer is of vast importance to our overall look, do we really need so many constantly charging at us at such an alarming rate? It's beyond a joke just how many are available and launched at us continually. When we find our 'perfect concealor' it feels fulfilling knowing the search is over. I've always preferred a rather light concealer, especially as I don't wear foundation. This is the Burberry Cashmere Concealer, which to my absolute delight was not only the best I've tried, but was also reduced! I proceeded to buy two back-ups which is most unusual for me. I also like the YSL Concealer Pen and for a full-coverage use MUFE Extreme Concealer most often as a base for my eyelids before using eye-shadow or to outline my lips. They're my go-to's and I'm happy with them. It's most likely due to the stress of choosing between all these concealers that have created the issues with our faces that now require hiding. I always keep a few names noted down to refer to if one if my regulars is sadly discontinued.😢 Hoping this won't happen. Your dear skin needs a well earned holiday with using so many of these foundation products. Take care and I'm hoping for something completely different next.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

Hello Nancy! I did a whole round up of concealers that puts them all on the concealer spectrum together by the way. But, to summarize that portion quickly, Haus is on the very thickest side of medium in consistency and T28 is on the thinnest side of medium. ❤️
