Tommy, I’m surprised you don’t own a quick jack lift? As much as you work on your car it’s worth it’s weight in gold and is key piece of garage equipment. Gets the whole car up in 3 seconds and locks in. I have the 7000ELX and love it!

Clicked on this video cause I wanted to see the caliper clearance on smaller wheels I'm thinking about getting a set of F80 calipers for my E92 was worried I'd go through all the work of piecing together the brake kit and it not fitting also these wheels are sick I learned 2 things from this video. Actually 3 after seeing the bloopers a stud conversion saves a lot of time and effort lmao

Not a fan of wheel locks personally, but check Motorsport Hardware for a wheel lock solution to use with studs. Because you really need to finally get some. It makes my eyes hurt watching you change wheels so often without studs 😎...

Are you still using the Ferodo DS1.11 brake pads? I'm curious because I am swapping to some Ferodo DSUNO for the track and read a review from an F80 owner on EssexParts who used both the DS1.11 and the newer DSUNO pads. Part # FCP4611Z (front) and FCP4663Z (rear).

T-shirt idea it it! Haha The ceramic brake grease I use helps a lot and is the best one I’ve used but after a track day it can still squeal. It’s a hit or miss. . I usually lube the sides a bit which helps a lot

Yeah im not sure why Brian doesnt carry the locking nuts in 14x1.25mm but they do make them. Im sure he can get them and maybe start carrying them as well. I plan on getting the 82mm studs and the MH Racing Nut with locks in the near future.

I just made the same Motorsport Hardware recommendation in a post above... I have a set and if you go with MH, I recommend you go with the beefier 14x1.5mm option due your track days. I have the 78mm black bullet nose stud kit with MH racing nuts (those nuts are longer and cover the exposed stud threads better which is good for studs used on the street in all-weather). Not sure if there is a lock nut option for the 14x1.5mm though...

Looks mean. Wouldn't think that with an 18" on an F80. Just put on MP4S 265/30/20 Fronts and 295/30/20 Rears. Very sticky tires (f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/showpost.php?p=26364808&postcount=17) Any reason you went with an 18" rather than a 19" for track days? Also, what track is open in the next few weeks in the tri-state area?

swear to god never seen that many changes of exhaust + rims than F8X owners, they just don't seem to find "the perfect" set, maybe there simply isn't.... I don't blame you tommy, no matter how many F8X cars I see with aftermarket rims and aftermarket exhaust, they simply don't seem that pleasing to me too... I liked ur previous silver rims look-wise, nice OEM + style. Since E30s, E39 M5, E46 ZCP, E9X Comp pack, the stock rims were the PERFECT rims, but yea, i do believe F8X comp wheels are ugly, a fact. Classic BBS RS, LM, E88 look perfect on ANY previous BMWs, whichever gen M car it was...but they too, don't seem to work well on F8X platform
