New truck! Starting issues, though...

Bought myself a new 'project' at auction. 2000 F-250 CCSB 4x4, 7.3, 4R100.
When I shot this video, I'd just gotten her home on a trailer, and hadn't gotten her to start yet. She'd run on ether, and 'try', but wouldn't actually take off. Then... this happened!
After letting her warm up, she was still running on 7 with no power. Take her out on the road, floor her... and she lights off and /goes/. Ran fine after that.
Since this time, I've found that she's definitely cold blooded - will not start when it's cold unless it's plugged in for hours. Glow plugs are fine, relay's new... looking like injectors need some TLC. Or HPOP.

I ended up fixing the problem. Injectors were sticky. I shimmed them, and fixed the problem entirely.

It sounds like either injector or hpop issues, you can here the injector start to fire before it lights off, I'd deffenetly check ipr valves and icp readings before buying a set of injectors, if you do end up replacing injectors do not go stock size, you can tune almost any injector to run like stock but trust me a little bigger injector and some mods will wake this truck up for sure, itll make you wonder why you ever played with idi engines.

It ended up being sticky/worn injectors. I shimmed them with a shim kit, and completely solved the issue. She fires right up with a few seconds of glow plugs now, even below freezing(as expected).

I would get a obd2 blue tooth of Amazon for thirty bucks.Then buy Torques app and car gauge pro app ten bucks a piece .car gauge pro can do a injector buzz test and torques can see the hopo psi.also if the under valve cover wire harness is not right will give you grief.
