Journal bearing turbos will always have shaft movement. There has to be clearance for the oil.

@ajradel no, you don’t run a restrictor with journal bearing turbos unless maybe you have too high of oil pressure

I had issue with my maxpeeding rod k04 turbo. Contacted customer support and it was an absolute hassle. They didn't understand what I was saying the issue was and they bargained with me on how much they would refund. It was a frustrating experience

Great video I have the first gen Max speeding rods turbo on a 96 Tacoma 2rz 4cylinder running it at 10psi all stock with 300k I've put 30k of Street time on it I've had it next to a couple of WRX Subarus and have given them a rough time
