As a primary healthcare provider, I don’t know how many times I have to say this. Ear wax is normal. It is a protective discharge. It lines the ear canal. It has antibiotic, antiviral properties and tastes awful so as to repel and keep off the buggies from climbing in your ear, especially at night. If you have pain, loss of hearing go see your RN or Doctor. You may have a perforation or infection whatever. Trust me. There is nothing abnormal wrong or dirty about having ear wax. If its impacted then have microsection. The gadget would not work anyway with impaction. In the UK we say nothing smaller than you elbow should go in your ear!
