Imo I don't really like the new outfit design for renalla, I understand wanting to reference other souls games outfits, but it honestly doesn't fit her. Renalla is more motherly and regal, and that outfit is more giving: going to the club on a Friday night. And again that just doesn't fit renalla as a character. This look is more appropriate for her leaving that behind and returning to her role as the head of caria family. I don’t think the cone hat would’ve made sense for her to wear all the time even after being ousted from the academy. Also radagon made a truce with her while being at war with her bc of how formidable and beautiful she was, I doubt it was bc of the cone hat. She probably was wearing something this pretty at the time bc there’s no way he fell for her in that robe and cone hat….

Everything is amazing! However, I really like her original armor and hat, it made her very unique, not even in this game, but in videogames in general. I hope they bring back her old armor design. I also like the dragon in the venilla version, maybe it can be brought back as a fire breath attack to create space for Rennala. Thank you and the whole team for this amazing mod!

Yeah considering she’s the head of the Carian clan you’d think she’d be a master battlemage or spellblade. But she just uses Lucarian spells along with Azur’s Comet. The only spell which looks unique to her background is her moon.

This redesign of her visuals is pretty bad. OG Renala took from traditional art of the moon, folk and art nouveau and was more interested in her looking tall, regal, and a bit vulnerable. She looked like a headmaster of a fantasy school. This one looks like a PS3 sexy fantasy lady and I get nothing else from it. She has no distinct personality here she just looks like a Bayonetta boss nobody remembers. Big miss, in my opinion.

the relocation is a smart move. getting rid of a boss clone and adding a kinda new one. idk if it just wasn't shown or not there. maybe make it so that she can string the carian blade spells into combos so she got some mix ups in her AI. other enemies do have similar combos. just a thought.

When you subscribe to their patreon you can get access to their mod launcher which has all the mods garden of eyes had made till date. You can choose which one to install through there. I might not be completely right since I don't have the pc version for elden ring as far as I know this is how it works...

Personally, I like the moves a lot, would be great to add in to the OG moves, but… I’m not a fan of the re-design. I think keeping the OG design would be better, since the redesign doesn’t look like a scholar or a warrior, and she doesn’t really fit the Dark Souls style, IMO. High heel boots, a long leg slit, a sheer back… she doesn’t even look like a queen, she looks like someone going to a formal event, like a modern cocktail party or even the Met Gala. I get where you’re coming from, wanting to emphasize regality, but I don’t think it happened here, it just makes her seem too modernized and out of place, especially in comparison to the rest of the Carrions.

It's mind-blowing to me how y'all can take an existing game and literally remake characters, landscapes, environments, weapons, spells et al....and if it is sanctioned by the original developers. The only thing that bothers me is in the lore, Marika uses the hammer....not Radagon (from my knowledge). I know he attempted to use Marika's hammer to repair the Elden Ring but i'd think he would use a sword or something in his original form with Rennala. But just my opinion.

To be honest, Renalla looks out of proportion in this dress. The outfit itself is beautiful, but it exposes the flaws of the original model. Previously, these flaws were hidden by a wide mantle and a crown.
