That meteor shower phase is gorgeous. Absolutely fitting for the conquer of the stars. It also took me a moment to realise why the orange meteors looked strange. They are actually Astels. A really cool detail. Radahn was not only preventing a meteor shower on the lands between but also holding back the creatures of the void.

Fun Fact: there was actually a leftover animation for Astel falling into Radahn's arena, and some leftover code that suggests Astel was going to drop into the arena after you defeat Radahn.

Alternatively, the animation could be anything from a cutscene to a different arena entirely for the same Astel fight. i honestly do find the placement of Radahn and kind of Caelid itself to be strange, it feels like such a climactic area with one of the previously strongest demi-gods taking up 1/4 of its map size, yet Radahn is suprisingly early game, so an upgrade to his attacks would do him some thematic justice.

@@P1P3B0MBS4KZbinHQ It’s the dungeon at the north end of the Wailing Dunes (Rahdan’s arena), and by location is scaled to the Dragonbarrow’s (northern Caelid) level. Basically, it’s a deathtrap for anyone that explores the whole of Rahdan’s arena immediately after taking him on in the early game. It’s full of high-level Redmane and Cleanrot Knight ghosts that will absolutely eviscerate late-game characters while also teleporting around in a chaotic continuation of the Battle of Aeonia.

Later down the line after some other bosses have gotten some revamps, Gideon would be nice to mess around with and theirs a lot of potential with him that the vanilla Gideon doesn’t really reach into(And the convergence mod just kills him for a custom boss).

If gideon gets revamped I hope his weapon drop gets changed so that it doubles as a mace and a catalyst for the player character instead of just being a plain old mace

However annoying I suspect it would be, it could be a gank fight with summons similar to Fia's champions since Gideon is implied to know puppetry magic from Seluvis. You walk into an empty hall, then puppets of Ensha and Henricus attack you from behind the pillars. Since they're puppets of (likely) already slain pawns, they're weak and pretty easy to beat. But then comes wave two. If you let Gideon kill Seluvis, he'll lead the wave, joined with two random tarnished. If you deal with Seluvis your own way, you get some new lore through an OC Round Table Knight leading (whose armor you can loot after the fight). And if there are any NPCs whose questline you haven't finished, they'd replace the random tarnished. Haven't finished Corrhyn's questline? He's there healing and calling incantations. Diallos hasn't made it to Jarburg, or hasn't died his noble warrior's death? He's leading the charge against you. Lastly, if you haven't killed Vyke in the Evergaol or completed Nepheli's questline, puppets of them accompany Gideon when he shows up to finish the job. If those two are completed, however, not only will their puppets be replaced with weak random tarnished, but Nepheli will be summoned to assist you. Gideon throws everything at you: his knowledge and his influence. But if you can get pass it all, you're truly worthy to become Elden Lord... at least, if you can beat Godfrey. or not, this gank fight would probably suck lol

Those changes were sick AF. In vanilla, Radahn kinda felt underwhelming once you learned his mvoesets. But this change definitely gives Radahn the most powerful demigod title. I look forward to playing the mod again.

The enrage state is a good idea and goes hand-in-hand with the gigantic arena. Not only this, but when he is enveloped by the scarlet rot it looks like a call-back to one of the earlier ER trailers where Radahn is engulfed in flames.

That is his greater rune burning to stave off the rot that is killing him via immolation but he's not being reborn like a phoenix from the ashes but it's in stagnation. Would be a fine detail if in this mod from the fight radahn is seen burning as in the trailer as the scarlet rot has reached it's peak and his rune is removing it from it's body and his greater rune can be seen burning through his chest plethora somewhat like how the elden ring can be seen through Radagon,...the rot and the flames from the rune immolating him with sparse flames in parts of his body from arms, legs, parts of his red mane, face but mainly his torso having a type of reminiscent of marvel's dark phoenix which those flames alongside scarlet rot are leaving his mouth and body making an aura around him in the shape of the gravity rune field he has on his sword being also a type of gravitational shield; whom the tarnished is weakening by blows to strike him down

Dude I love these Elden Bosses ideas. I thought of something similar some weeks ago, but you have done it so much better than I could have ever thought of. This Radahn fight looks insane. Anyway, if you.are.willing to recieve some ideas, I think an Astel fight in which you have to fight a fallingstar beast first, as to showcase the creature's full lifecycle could be cool. Also, I pray there's a way to make a Placidusax's version with all his heads.

i am pretty sure the Astels are NOT realted to the fallingstar beasts the FULL GROWN fallingstar beast kinda implies this one guy is the final cycle of their growth and we can see malformed Astel fetus in Ainsel i second the Elden Astel fight tho, it's an awesome boss Placi too, he deserves that

The fallingstar beast grows into the fullgrown fallingstar beast, which then grows into the lesser astels you see in the underground, and finally into the actual Astel. You can even see the Astel skull-like face slowly emerging from the fallingstar's beast head. Also, the whole process is meant to mimic the growth of the antlion.

Radahn feels like a Raid boss... his design is literally that. You even have 7 (8 if we count Patches lol) summons instead of the normally 2. He should have gotten more HP. Around 30k to 50k

Would be interesting if radahn had a 3 phase with some sort of hp regeneration like malenia with waterfowl with some specific attacks like the zig zag with his blades and the corkscrew, to be able to create a shield around him like a small saturn rings from the debris by the gravity from him to tank damage, with his longer animations being uncancellable and more precise and the closer to him the stronger the damage is Maybe the last phase here is the scarlet rot leaving his body with his greater rune like in the trailer burning his body, leonard dying from the rot and the stars falling, calling for Jerren to deliver the last blow on him like how in dark souls 3 siegward gave the last blow to yhorm by their promises On it's third phase the scarlet rot has reached it's peak and it's great rune starts burning like in the trailer here it's starts releasing the scarlet rot from his body but it kills Leonard making radahn lose in his grief part of it's ability to hold back the stars and consumed by grief tries to hold himself and grab one of his swords to fight back as in the video and can be seen how his meteors landing in the background start destroying enormous portions of the lands between from crashing and destroying mountains to villages and the sea, alongside Caelid even crashing on the moon and taking out branches from the erdtree. With the tarnished having to get close alongside the NPC's which have some to fight falling Star beasts that are falling in the dunes forcing the player to go all in radahn alongside 2 more NPC's being them blaidd and jerren and evading the meteorite blasts and shockwaves of radahn taking out portions of health whilst radahn starts releasing the scarlet rot alongside him in the gravity rune form of his swords like an aura of gravitational scarlet rot with the clouds above releasing thunders of gravitational magic and the rot making a type of northern lights of rot as the skies above shower with meteorites and the skies falling down. With his great rune symbol visible through the inside of his chest (similar on some ways to Radagon Elden ring) immolating him After his death goes the rest of the stars falling from the normal cutscene and the remaining NPC's help destroy the remaining falling Star beasts in the dunes making use of the new acquired radahn shield against the beasts

Love this take on a Prime / Non-rotten Radahn, and how his gravity powers are turned up to 100. I think pretty much everyone wondered about how powerful Radahn would've been if he never fell to the rot. That, and that his final phase basically being an insane version of Vanilla Radahn's first phase with the bow. I think that is a very interesting spin on that part of the fight.

Radahn as a visual and story spectacle on release was fucking perfect... The arrows never missed showcasing his surpeme ability as a demi-god and war chief... His crippled and mangled movements and style showcase an insanity and lack of conciousness. And his attacks display who he is and what he does, did, and will do if not defeated... This re-script looks very fitting for his character and very fun for modded replaythroughs. I as an artorious enjoyer lost my fucking shit when he bussed out the corkskrew 1st fight, extravagant attacks unaccessible to the player are why i enjoy the from soft bosses, they really feel like bosses beyond your status as the player character. And fitting of the challenge they give as a game barrier. Some games have hard bosses just to have em hard, some games have visually and thematically beautiful bosses and they carry no weight to their character in the effort of fighting them being fall over fodder for the players progression.
