But mostly all of them use algorithms, and end up making up notes/getting notes wrong. I built my plugin a bit differently, in that it gives the user the ability to see everything, and choose the notes themselves If you're happy with the tool you're using already though, feel free to skip :)

that notegrabber's pretty solid actually, i haven't really used melodyne but comparing this to Cubase's Variaudio it works a lot better for things like finding all the notes in the spectrum of a drone, rather than having it just detect the main key that you can move around. i had a really distopian sounding drone sound with no descernable tone structure, kinda detuned sounding. pulled like 10 notes from it and arpeggiated them with a cyberpunk sounding bass and also tried on strings in an orchestral setting, all fit really well. i don't know about it's uses for chopping samples or anything but at least for that particular use it's pretty dope

Aurora reminds me of when KSHMR dropped his reverb. Yes, you can do something that would otherwise take an additional plugin to do, which is great, except the reverb itself sounds worse. There is really no time lost from me to load up soothe, dove, trackspacer, or even Izotope Neutron itself to do the unmasking. So I'm just left with a reverb I like less than the one I'm already using?

these 808 plugins are kind of a scam really.. Like cool sounding 808s are cooland stuff but when it comes to "strong sounding" beats and 808s it comes more so down to the overall processing of the beat itself.. like I have my general go to processing that makes my beats sound powerfull anyway (according to people who use my beats) A long time ago I was also always searching for the best "808 plugin" but I soon noticed it doesnt matter too much (like you can also just use a nice 808 sample and 808 cooker is also really nice for interesting and cool 808s also) but they will all sound shit if the beat just aint leveled and post processed right.. my tipp is, you can go loude on kicks and 808s if you just buss compress them with the whole beat (like the VR phat rack kinda works really really good for that) just dont crank it up too much.. So the loudness gets clipped off (not like clipping but more so in a controled compressor way) and everything feels more cohesive and thick and overall nice and polished then.. Maybe ill make a video on that some day. ALSO I havent made any videos yet and dont upload my beats that often so all the beats on my channel are outdated.. I dont sound like that exactly anymore.. I should maybe start uploading my beats again.. just with more interesting visuals and shit
