I am not sure if you know this, but i think you can air drop shields for your flanking units.

Did you know that the dps of a group of mustang is higher than that of a marksman? (1080 vs 811) Of course this is only true as long as non of the units of the mustang have died and the opponent is in range. Also because of the longer range of the marksman it's more likely to survive longer than thus gain levels quicker.

And yet despite the claims I have never had a problem dealing with Mustangs. I feel they are VASTLY overrated.

Mustangs die to fire of all kinds. Vulcans with incendiary rockets and/or range. Stormcallers, especially with incendiary Pretty much any call down. That said they are the ultimate anti Air unit, and fuck up anything airborne, unless the enemy overlords have armor. They are a great generalist with one specialty and one super hard counter. . @@MrProthall I did not mean to say they have high dps. I meant to say marksman have very low single target dps. The only thing marksman have going for them is their range. It's just that that is enough.

You do not upgrade the forts for the dmg, you do it for the hp.

yeah, if they rocket punch too quickly due to dying too quickly, they end up firing them on the same group of targets.

@@zthedocmain5349 that does help, but you don't want to throw too much chaff at the enemy--it levels their units up and the nature of chaff-killers being what it is, it has dimishing returns.

Forts are a great tank, and a great offensive weapon. I feel like some extra phoenixes with a range tech would have wiped faster. What's better than a fortress march? Having a Phoenix Gatling Gun behind them.

What do you mean about denying the charged ammo to your opponent? Not sure I follow

If neither player takes something, it has the ability to shoe up again. So he took the item, assuming his opponent wouldn't take it there so there is never an option to pick it up again.

I was kinda wondering about that too. for some upgrades I could see the point that both players having it kinda cancels it out...but that only works for items if you made sure to mirror their usage....but incursis diden't even use his!

Even though you both see the same options, once a Player has picked an option it will no longer show up in future rounds. If the opponent didn't pick exactly the same option at that same round they will never get the chance later (is what I think Incursus was talking about)

Well the usual definition of cheesy is a strategy that is only effective when catching an opponent by surprise, as it will set you back if scouted and countered. Flanking here is kind of like that.
