@@scholaprogenium7276 very true ... meta is good for a tournament. I fine a more thematic or historical list is more fun, not everyone is a super hero. It will be good to see a video with this guys in action against the Soviet opponents, especially if you use weather conditions

@@BigWill501st I dream of an SAS army all in dakka jeeps, have done since 1st edition, but it was never really viable with the old platoons! Now...well let's see what happens after the germans and brits have had their initial V3 upgrades!

@ sounds so fun. For transports would you say the M5 half track is best for outflanking, or a couple bren carriers? I’m just trying to figure out what the best way to do transports and outflanking is. Seems like Reece is good, maybe do a full recce platoon with them? I kind of like the idea of maybe doing a platoon of normal commandos then a platoon of SAS maybe

The Sissi can now take Panzerfausts so one on each rifle squad may be worth considering for self defence vs vehicles. Also if you start your rifles as regulars they upgrade to Vets when down to half strength.

@@oakleystactics579 I was chatting about this topic last night, a couple of fausts across the 4 squads would be a good starting point I think, 1 each would be nice but its 60 points! I prefer taking my infantry as vets, I still get a lot of use out of the veterancy upgrade rule on my infantry heavy weapons teams! In V2 I always had a squad of 6 regs with 2 fausts but they're gone now my vets can carry the fausts if I take some! Cheers for the comment, good to hear from you!

Another thing about Faust is that they are way more deadly against buildings now, so that 15 points can be used for tanks, or defended positions. I was playing a game and they managed to be horrible to any groups in buildings.

Great plan for your mortar fire. ☺ and I like the MMG firepower and panzerschrecks in cars. However you do lack overall mobility and no long range AT or heavy HE. Also some Armour for flanking / quick movement is always nice.

@@vincnetjones3037 Hi mate, some great pointers here, thanks! I have found the shreks have very solid range, but there is definately cracks in the approach; where a clever opponent manoeuvres out of the 24 and you have to chase them around, hitting on 5s and dodging return fire from enemy infantry etc. So one longer range AT option might fit nicely. Sadly Finnish armour is terrible, mainly unreliable for a start! The advance into ambush I find gives me a lot of maneuverability, more than it might seem from first glance, but heck, I have a tonne of Finns and more coming so I'll be trying all sorts!

Finns!❤ I’m thinking of taking a Company Commander instead of the sniper with my lists. The thought of snapping to four heavy weapon units at once sounds amazing.

@@patrickb2171 I can't deny that sounds effective, give them a real wallop and see how they recover! The problem is the counter fire and the risk of being rushed and shut down, so 2 batteries of 2 guns with a platoon commander might be safer, if less brutal! Definately something I'm exploring myself at the moment!

Reg T20s Komsomolets are only 16pts for Finns! That is a cheap, tracked mmg and an open-topped armoured car for your HQ (and/or Panzerschrecks) so that they can still give snap-tos and cast morale aura from. Worth the unreliable perhaps. A WOW list spammed these, I recall.

@@hippyhippyshakespear Hi mate, yeah the T20s look like a great option, I need to pinch a couple off JP for a test drive asap! The Bren has been great for my brits officers and piats so far! I think 2-3 would be as many as I'd include, so many other units to fit in these days!

It has been a while. Just to inform why I haven't been commenting (or even watching) your videos. I have been unwell for the last couple of months and haven't been able to do really anything but the bare necessities. Even watching the screen has made me nauseous, so I haven't. Now I am getting better and getting myself back to my feet. It is so nice to be able to do things! Need to delve into this new edition some day. I already bought the rulebook, but haven't cracked it open quite yet. And when my mental and physical strenghts are back, perhaps a game or two.
