Valentino is absolutely one of my favourite houses but I really don't like how they made an aromatic fragrance and called it "noir" and put it in an all black bottle

Just blind bought smells amazing. Without a doubt the best Valentino out for masculine men. Dont listen to these reviewers if they say ysl myself smells better or the same more than likely they lean more feminine. Myslf smells like my grandmother before a wedding. This smells like a date night/fresh. Can probably wear any occasion. Also sprayed palm had 6 females smell all 6 loved it. 1 took the name and is buying for her boyfriend today after smelling. Even went online and searched for it in front of me. This is day 1 with it. Spray responsibly fellas this is a hidden gem at its finest. Every review I read so far or KZbin has been WRONG.

I purchased this over the weekend, and with my skins chemistry I love the way it smells on me, the dry down is long lasting on my skin, this fragrance is definitely in my rotation.

My first Valentino was Coral Fantasy. Since I'm coming off of the sweet end of the spectrum, I might tone back with the original Uomo or Uomo intense. I like the house of Valentino actually

Coral Fantasy is a good one and I like the Valentino Uomo line a lot. Great fragrances. Would be fun to see something like Uomo Noir Absolu next. Something different but still very likable.

Or a flanker to Valentino Uomo Intense 🙌 A big does of powderiness but this time around blended with something different and exciting 👌 They already did flankers to Born in Roma, etc so why not create a flanker to one of their best? 🤩

Rockstud noir is the name of a few shoe silhouettes they have. That’s probably why the fragrance is named that because of the studs. I don’t think it has anything with trying to be a rockstar fragrance. Great video

I didn't know about this one. The fragrance and bottle just dont marry though. You would expect something deep and dark in a black bottle. Rockstud should have leather for a start. My latest fragrance, Sospiro Vibrato, arrived this morning and it smells amazing.

Agree on the bottle 😊 I have not tried the sospiro vibrato.. Note says powdery citrus and whenever I see that in a niche I think of Galloway 😆 Is it similar to anything else out there?

@@rottenrebels It has been compared to Bvlgari Tygar, which I don't have although I do own 2 clones, so I do think there are some similarities. I also think it's similar to Roja Burlington 1819 (which I do have a sample of). I've made a conscious decision recently to switch from purchasing lots of moderate priced fragrances to focus instead on a few, higher quality scents each month. PdM Althaïr is next on my list.

If it smells like YSL Y EDP Intense, then it's likely not foe me. I like the opening of YSL Y Intense ok, but I like it less in the mid, and even less once it dries down. There's something that's off for me with the YSL DNA, and I get it in both the EDP and EDP Intense.

My scent memory from first couple of smells , reminds me straight away of polo Ralph’s club🤷🏼‍♂️ The lady at Dillards told me this is a limited edition and once they’re gone they’re gone..🤷🏼‍♂️ so I bought the only 2 they had left, or perhaps they were only allotted 2-3 for their location🤷🏼‍♂️

@@rottenrebels I’d give the scent profile, a solid 8.5 for what it is and how it does what it does,.. , but like a 4 on originality and uniqueness. . Smells great, but definitely resembles at least a dozen or so other scent profiles in the same way. Overall I’m pleased with it, and when she told me it’s a limited edition I bought the only two they had left plus they let me buy the tester for 1/2 price. My local Dillards fragrance counter ladies love to fight for me when they see me approaching the counter 😆🤣🫶💯✅ I figured one day somebody specific will be trying hard to find this and I’ll be sitting on 2 un opened boxes. ✅ it may not be for everyone but I’m convinced that the majority of people will find this to be a great fragrance, as do I 😎 🫶✅

@@rottenrebels Yeah the new one , its only 60ml Green bottle . OMG its amazing . The quality is Tom Ford,PDM, Amouage , It has his own character without being very niche and not mass apealing ( thats hard to do) its one of those that people can recognize. Other than that right now i can still smell it on my hand and its over 16 hours . I dont care about amazing projection and longevity ( because i want to wear different perfumes on day ) but this has that for people that want it . I think u gone LOVE it . Its way different than Gucci line , have that in mind .. Its more like Amouage Reflection type of perfume.

Check out my shorts on the Valentinos and the comparison I did some time ago. I think it really depends on what kind of scents you enjoy and what you are looking for. They are all quite mass appealing but with different scent profiles. Uomo is definitely a good one. I would probably go for something else though but again, it all depends on what you want/need 😊

I actually like the bottle design, but I do NOT like that they don't put the name of the fragrance on the front. It's just annoying to have to go by color juice when reaching for one of them. Same thing with Y EDP, Y EDP Intense and Y Live. Almost Identical bottles with juice color not that different. 🤷‍♂️👀

I got my nose on this one a few days ago. It’s not overly sweet which separates it from the rest of the line. It wasn’t amazing but very versatile everyday type of fragrance. Can’t criticise Valentino for doing something different in the line. Mr Rebel and Sandra seem like a lovely couple. Usual see the hood on fragrances.
