Right?! And so good looking too. They're an awesome power couple.

😭😭 wow thank you! So flattering to hear that because we’re so isolated at this village we don’t see many people who share our interests. Building a cool van hasn’t really grabbed anyone’s attention here in the village haha 😆

Great work. Great episode. It dawned on me, watching, what makes your videos so satisfying to this viewer: You are masterful in mixing real-time action, with time-lapse, and narration. It results in just the right pace for taking it all in with no ponderous or wasteful moments. You’re the best at it. It’s just so satisfying and enjoyable to watch.
@bediracule46003 жыл бұрын
True! They add just enough details about the engineering for us to share in Ladis excitement without getting bored or overwhelmed. Its tailored for the emotion and excitement rather than the mundane details that other DIYers tend to focus on. I never skip the narration like I do in other videos bc I know Margaret is going to say something important or entertaining. This is what you get when you combine Ladi and Margaret... just talent and nerdiness rolled into a ball of coolness 😎

Thanks for the parts list, it definitely helps people break down the cost of certain items and helps them decide what they don't need and what they want to upgrade when considering costs and labor. Shopping for those items takes time, especially the solar panels. I'm looking forward to seeing your custom made curved cabinets and battery pack.

@heartobefelt3 жыл бұрын
a small note about your water tank brackets . you welded threaded rod to the brackets which is okay if you use grade 5 threaded rod , but dont use grade 8 high tensile threaded rod because it becomes very brittle if welded and will break easily . otherwise nice to see you enjoy your project.

I look forward to every video you put out. I love how creative and original you guys are. I like that you aren't afraid of bold, bright, fun colors. You are a great inspiration to those of us who are just getting started on our builds. You are so lucky to have such a great work space to create in, you've worked your tails off turning your building into a beautiful workspace. I love the drone shots of the countryside you are living in, it like it would be a lovely place to visit and revive ones soul.Thanks for putting out such great content!

I’d add some internal fins to stop water from sloshing around in bends. Fresh water - maybe add an UV lamp like they do on boats to kill bacteria.

Nice build, just an idea for when you mount the tank permanently, put some opposite curve in the bottom supports and the gap in the middle should disappear when you reinstall.
@martinkirton96083 жыл бұрын
I used to manufacture those concrete moulds. I was looking at them, and they really didn't look in bad condition. My heart was breaking as I watched you throw them out.. That's thousands of dollars worth. Still, if they are no use to you, then they are rubbish. Only thing I would suggest, is double nut those brackets just to make sure they don't shake loose.

Along with Humble Road you guys are the Ultra Plus Ultra Van of builders. Ladi is a true craftsman and Margaret you have a great eye for design. Take a look at the Sailing Uma channel. Boat builders and van builders can learn a lot form each other and you seem to share similar characteristics. We will soon be posting our trailer build and our modular water system we are learning a lot from your videos.

Hey guys , Love your channel and watching your videos. The only thing wrong that i see is the fact that the 150ltr tank should have been in front of the axle for better weight distribution.
