It’s about time they do something. I drive on Uber Eats and Walmart Spark far less but I’ve had to do more identity verification on those apps. Maybe DoorDash is reading the room, especially since that 15 year old girl got in a fatal accident using her mom’s account. That should have really spooked the lawyers.

To Charlie, Yeah, I've been feeling the same as you but not for the same stuff. I'm getting so discouraged by just how many crap orders I have to decline on both DD & UE in the Chattanooga market. I'm barely hanging on to silver due to shitty customers. I haven't seen that particular login yet, but has anyone noticed that DD extends your dash behind your back so to speak? It's happened to me too many times now. I schedule up to 10pm but I see that the dash end time is 10:30pm. I didn't request that!

This doesnt solve much of anything. 1) A lot of account sharing is done by people of close relation who know or can get the account holder's ssn essy. 2) Most people who I have talked to who rent out their account provide the account holder ssn.

How come I didn't get extra for going out of zone on a 17 mile $6 stacked order for a makeup store. I tried to tell my wife to decline it. Also tried to tell her to wait for an order before she got back on the highway. 10+ restaurants at the exit. What a rip-off. 1st delivery was to a closed post office with no instructions that it was a PO box. Called the customer twice & he told me to leave it in the lobby.

Be careful handing ppl orders when it's leave at door without any picture. If they report they didn't receive it it become a huge hassle. At least take picture of their house or mailbox

Not to mention scheduling and zones... Since they already have my social They don't need to ask again. The last 4 is sufficient enough..W-2s pay hourly with retirement benefits and PTO even if it's not busy unless they're not ready to do that and i'm not talking that earn time by time bs, then I stand on that

Another dasher was told to verify SSN on a live stream today too. I was gonna take the day off but might go out for a couple to see if I get this. btw, I was hoping dd would update to only give $2-3 offers with double orders from the same place, not standalone, then I got an add on for $2 I took- ended up getting a 4 star for handling when the order was in a hot bag from the time I got to the store to the time I got to her door and it took me like 2 minutes. It's always the non tippers.

It only says in order to keep driving, you must enter this information..nothing else.. And they started off by saying there's been suspicious activity, which is odd that everybody at the same time has suspicious activity, but doesn't specify what that activity if none of that rings any kind of bell, then I don't know what to tell you

might as well end the account then. 1) they have it or they would have to find something else to ask for to confirm. when you signed up for it you included your social. hard to have that yearly 1099 tax form to submit to the irs otherwise. and that is downloadable each year through them 2) nobody receiving that request for the SSN can go back on dash period. they either have to type it and wait. or just never dash again. it's an effective lockout of the account
